I used to take coffee in the morning, afternoon and at night. Does it affect my health especially my heart?

Caffeine has its perks, but it can pose problems too. Heavy daily caffeine use — more than 500 to 600 mg a day — may cause side effects such as:insomnia, nervousness, restlessness, irritability, stomach upset, fast heartbeat and muscle tremors. If you're like most adults, caffeine is a part of your daily routine. And most often it doesn't pose a health problem. But be mindful of those situations in which you need to curtail your caffeine habit.

Hi Jem, I'm also a coffee drinker and I drink coffee 3 to 4 times a day everyday!, I sometimes drink more coffee than water (which I know is not healthy ). But here's what I know about coffee:
Recent findings says it contains anti-oxidants and according to CNN can reduce risks of getting certain diseases like colon cancer, parkinson's disease, etc.
It may also reduce the risk of getting a stroke BUT too much may increase blood pressure.
and
According to livestrong.com, Increased heart rate is a common side effect for individuals who consume more than 300mg of caffeine a day. (I have no idea how many milligrams of caffeine there is in one regular cup though).
So in my opinion if you can switch to decaf then you're good to go.
Have a nice day!
