Lost, but have not found yet.

In October, 2012, I lost my wallet with my debit cards, credit card, D.L. and stuffs. I got my new debit cards within the same month after i reported them lost. But I still have yet to receive my renewal credit card from my bank. I just cannot imagine that it took this long to get my renewal card. I would not quite blame my bank for the delay though, for it was the delivery guy who could not locate my mailing address the following month; while I am receiving my statements on my doorstep every month. Besides, since I was on vacation and was out of station in Dec. and Jan. and I was frustrated with not gettin my renewal card, my payments for 2 months somehow became overdue, due to which they temporarily blocked my card and that I had to clear the payments to receive my new card. I eventually cleared my past due payments this month and finally they are sending my renewal card this week. I am a bit relief now. I am just hoping that the delivery person finds me by calling me as most other delivery people do. Otherwise...I am not quite sure what i'll do to him..strangle!!!.lol..(just so upset with this delivery person). Have you ever lost your wallet/purse? Was it this inconvenient?
