Hi guys, Have you experienced buying a dress in the department store and you try to fit it and it looked good with you but then when you went home , you don't want to wear it already? I experienced it last December when I bought a dress for our Christmas party but then when I tried to fit it again when I arrived home as if I was so regretful that I bought it. It looks dull already. I have no companion when I bought it and when I asked my friends if it is beautiful, they said NO.haha. I was devastated. It was quite expensive. What do you usually do with those dress or clothes that you had regretfully bought?

No,this has never happened with me.I never buy my cloths myself in the first place. It is either my wife or my sister or my niece who buy cloths for me.Often they take me with them, and there I think ten times before allowing them to buy a particular dress for me.I first ensure that I would use it,and if I feel I won't be able to do so,I refuse to buy it.

I've done that way more times than I want to admit. I'd first look into the stores return policy because some stores will accept returns for quite a long time. Other than that, I sell a lot of my old clothes I can't use anymore on sites like craigslist. And regifting is always great if you know someone who would likely use it. Great to not have it sitting around annoying you also. :-)

I ave had the same experience. I try to hold on to it thinking that one day I might find it useful. But if I really wouldn't find it worth wearing, I usually just give it to my sister.

Hi, I have bought one dress that I have not wore yet. Everytime I have a party to attend, I would try fitting that dress again and again, but would rather wear another one in the end. I have not really asked other people about their opinion about that dress but it is me who would always hesitate to wear that. But like your experience, during the time that I bought it, I actually like it and in fact, excited wearing it. Or maybe, the sales lady has great impact why I bought it. She maybe telling me that it is nice and I look good in it Well, am not sure I just can't remember. The dress is still with me. I usually give some of my clothes to my sister but I don't think this one would fit her so I just keep the dress with me.

This happened to me last year but it is for a dress that I bought online. On the site it looks so pretty and just right for me, but when it was delivered it really looks ugly on me. I learned my lesson then and since it will be too much of a hassle to have it replaced or return it, I just gave it to my sister. I would have given or donated it to the goodwill if my sister doesn't want it.

I also have the same experience maybe most of us haha, not only in the mall I also like buying dress online before, and trust me it doesnt mean that it looks good on the model it will also look good on you haha.. but I can return it if I bought it online, but it takes day though, and about buying a dress on the mall as long as we have the receipt we can return it specially if it is a branded dress, and most of the mall here in South Korea sells only branded dress, and they are quit very expensive so I guess theres no problem in returning it, what I like here is the customers satisfaction always comes first. I've never seen a sign of no return no exchange in the malls, I do see sometimes online. So when it happens to me, when I have time I do return the dress, but if I am very busy and I feel lazy, I will just give it to me sister or some friends.. atleast it will not be a waste.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, if i have this kind of clothes, i will give it to my brother or cousins, we don't get any happiness while wearing a dress without our interest, better to offer the cloth to our relative or a good friend

i think one of the reasons is lighting, i mean it's so different when you're inside the mall and out in the sunshine isn't it? that's when it shows its "true colors" and if it complements your skin tone. yes, it did happen to me. i didn't want to go home yet, maybe i was trying to decompress from my job. i was roaming around the mall, looking at things but not really in the moment. next thing you know, i'm buying a white short-sleeved blazer. there was probably a sale sign on it which made me do it. i mean it was a little snug around the arms even, but i still bought it. guess what, i never wore it and don't even know where it is now. most likely i've given it away to a relative with children starting to enter the workforce.

put the photo of that dress here and I will suggest on how you can use it. or if it is a hopeless case. don't be disheartened and don't waste money it is very hard to earn money. I recycle clothes that I found ewww after buying. Like i remove the sleeves or remove the raffles or put beads and all. then I will be able to use it already. yepeee just be creative...
