8 Year Old Teaches Me To Use iPhone..

My nan bought me an iPhone last month. I've never really wanted one before but now I see how fun it can be to have one.
My next door neighbours little girl often comes around to hang out with me and she was looking at my iPhone and was teaching me how to do things on there. I just found it funny how she is only 8 and I am 22 and she knows way more about this stuff than me.
Although I guess it is because I have never owned an iPhone or iPad until last month and she has had her own for a very long time.
Has a child ever shown you how to use something because you were so far behind with technology?
Happy MyLotting.

Haha, that is very common phenomenon,as a old saying"there is always a teacher of you among more than three people."We all good at in different ways and fields so that if you never get a Iphone but that little girl has know about it before then it is very easy for us to understand.

That cute little girl must be born intelligent. It is not only funny but also a symbol of tech savvy world.

Hello smartjazz!
I don't think it has anything to do being intelligent. It's just because she has been around these devices longer than me and is used to it.
Thank you very much for answering. :)

Hello ajithlal!
That is very true since they are growing up with these items. My nan and pop are usually fascinated when they see me typing because they say I am fast. They also think I'm very good with computers haha I'm not, all I can do is just type fast.
Thank you very much for answering. :)

Hey there AussieGal,
I have known and seen much younger children walking around with iPhones and / or iPads. Have also seen children go crazy at their parents if they don't get one. Everyone, not just children, wants new and better things to fit in. I personally don't see the point in having one. I don't see the big deal about them and I don't want one.
Happy mylotting to you also!

Hello AidanKay!
Yeah I know what you mean. I wasn't really fussed about them ages ago until my dad got an iPad and my nan bought me the iPhone. It's fun now, mainly for the games and the typing is a lot quicker for me now but I am sure after awhile it will all be old news and I wont really care about them. :P

Kids nowadays are even better when it comes to using the latest gadgets. You can see them around, playing with their IPads while the older ones are just watching them, wondering how they do it. Well I guess when it comes to the latest gadgets, even kids don't want to be left behind.

Hello ayeeesha!
Yeah I understand what you mean. I have never been a person, even as a child, to have the newest and best thing. I really didn't care and I still don't. If my nan hadn't bought me an iPhone, I would never have had one ever. It is more fun than my older phone and my dad's iPad is fun but other than that, I don't spend half the day with them in my hand or by my side like most kids / people do.
Thank you very much for answering. :)

I love iPhones! I don't have one now but I definitely plan to get one. I had an iPod Touch and loved all of the features and apps. I agree with you completely.
