On Friday it was my moms 50th birthday. We didn't get to celebrated on her birthday so we did it today after everyone was off of work. Yesterday my mom took me, my daughter and nephew to DC to see Clifford live, had dinner out there came home both kids passed out. Then today we had a nice dinner. My mom made corn beef and cabbage, with some corn bread which we all love. My sister in law spent most of yesterday getting balloons, cake, chocolate covered strawberries, plates and forks and spoons so my mom doesn't have to do dishes tonight.
I bought my mom off of shutterfly photo magnets of my two little ones.

That is just awesome that you were able to spend the weekend with your mother for her 50th birthday. It sounds like you all had a great time and it was quality time that you were all able to spend together.
I know that the magnets that you got for your mother is going to be something that she really is going to treasure. Two years ago for Christmas I got my mother-in-law a photo calendar of the children and now that is something that she expects every year.

She has them on her refrigerator . I really wanted to a photo blanket for her birthday but I'm going to do it for Mother's Day instead.

I am glad that your mom had a very happy 50th birthday. It was a good idea to wait to celebrate it when everyone was off work. I am glad that you all enjoyed seeing Clifford live. I am pleased you all liked the nice dinner.
It will be my mom's 80th birthday on 25th March. I am hoping to give her lots of happiness and joy.

That was really nice of all of you having dinner and cake for your mom. However, I wouldn't have allowed my mom to cook. You guys should have cooked for her so she could have a day of rest. There is nothing better then not having to cook especially that it was her 50th Birthday celebration. Hope you all enjoyed the celebration. Happy Birthday to your mom!

My mom worked yesterday and she wanted to cooked she always cooks you can't get her not to. When you are in so one else house you let them cook. You don't mess with mummy's when they want to do things. I cook not matter what day of the week or if its my birthday when I'm at my house. Mummy's dont get breaks.
