my college life is not as good as expected

I have been in university for one and half year. I hardly find corporations that I may be intersted. So my gravity is almost foucus on study. However, I doubt the education system in some aspects for my major because I think the institute order us to learn too much knowledge have nothing to do with my mojor. Besides, I am a medico. Concerning the precise diagnosis and the liability to my patients, I think medicos should concentrate themselfs on their major while we are forced to attend the lessons such as the history of art. This obviously occupy our time which should be used to learn basic medicin knowlege. I feel upset about this..What about your college life?
