Overcoming Grief...I Have Not

I took care of my brother who had cancer stage IV for more than a year. He passed away last January of this year. Almost my entire days and nights were spent for him - staying with him during his hospital confinements, taking charge of his medicines, looking for alternative cancer cures when he seemed not responding to chemo and radiation.
He passed away but left me so sad. I still cry a lot up to this date. I was hoping that he could survive for at least 3 years but that did not happen.
Was I expecting so much that this could be the reason that I still grieve?

Hi,
I feel very sad for your mother. Cancer is very deadly disease and he was bearing the pains more than a year. I can understand your feelings. You have done lot of efforts to save his life. It is very difficult for you to overcome this grief. But time is the medicine for grief. You have to overcome it. may your brother rest in peace.
