In Bulgaria I didn't see Sofia the capital city however I saw lots of other places. Some capital cities I have found very beautiful like Budapest and Prague. The last few capital cities I have been Buenos Airies and Santiago De Chile.
Have you ever visited any capital cities?
Did you visit a country but not its capital?

One capital that I didn't find appealing was Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, it was just a built up town, I think we spent an afternoon there and that was enough! I wouldn't go there again. I've been to Prague, and of course I have London on my doorstep. And you can include Cardiff, the capital of Wales, and of course Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. I went to France once, but never Paris, only Calais and Bolougne which didn't appeal to me much.

I have visited many of the European capitals. I especially liked Prague, Bratislava and Budapest, Amsterdam and Stockholm, but I also enjoyed the time that I spent in other capitals like Rome or Paris. In Asia I visited Bangkok in Thailand, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Vientiane in Laos and Hanoi in Vietnam. My favourite city in Asia so far is Luang Prabang in Laos, it is not the capital, but it is a very popular place among the tourists. I think it is more charming than the capital and I loved to explore the temples and the many other interesting places.
In Norway I have visited Bergen, but not Oslo. In Greece I have visited Thessaloniki but not Athens and in Spain I have visited Malaga, Sevilla and Grenada but not Madrid. I would like to visit Madrid in the future and I also want to return to Greece. Next time I would like to visit Athens.

We did go through Ottawa once and I did live in London, England, but was quite small so did not remember. I have not been to Washington DC, since we never got that far south when we had a trip. Not having enough money to do all that traveling. And it looks like the way things are going, none us will.

I've been to a few capital cities in the USA, never any overseas, but I plan to. Most of the cities in the USA a busy, crime ridden and move at the speed of light. I'm sure the cities in other countries are different, I like the city life though. I would like to visit some famous cities because reading about them or seeing pictures just doesn't do them justice.

Hello my friend. Your home country is very large. It is lovely you have seen a few capital cities of the states. You might be able to visit Ottawa in Canada or Mexico City in the future. The Caribbean Islands and the Pacific Islands have tiny capital cities. I found it funny Apia in Samoa has a marine reserve. It looked more like a small town. Male in the Maldives has buildings packed in closely together. There is stocky architecture in Helsinki and beauty in Vienna.

Yes I did but I have to admit also I am not such a (capital) city lover. I like Budapest because there are hills/mountains as well. And I like that part the most. The same with Sofia. You can take a ski lift in the summer as well up to the mountains. I don't like crowds that much so if not necessary I will not visit any (big) city.

I have been to London, the capital of England. I found it a great experience. There was a lot to se. I had Thames River ride, visited London Museum, and also went to Madame Tussad's. I had some good food there, and some good pictures also with my friends. I also have been to the big interchange station, Waterloo.
If I get a chance to go there again, I would see all these places and see how much they have changed in last 5-6 years.
