How do you know if a Louis Vuitton bag is fake? / myLot

I'm a big big fan of LV bags. However, my only disappointment at this point is that there are so many fakes already and sometimes, it's really very difficult to tell which one is original and which is fake. Are there sure signs that will identify the fake one? It used to be patina color (the original one will turn into a nice patina when it gets older) but nowadays, the manufacturers of fake bags have learned how to do that as well. What other signs should I look for?

I think you should consider who/where you are buying it from and what the cost is. If it's too cheap it's probably not the real thing!

When it comes to designer bags its honestly about the quality. The fabric and leather used in designer bags is of a better quality than what you would by at a walmart.
