I have me a touch screen phone, and I like it better than than, regular cellphones my brother gave me my touch screen phone, all I had to do was, have the service turn on and when I have the phone in my purse, I turn it off so nothing touches the screen, and I don't like text messages.

Hi AkamaruKei, it's quite normal having difficulty and be uncomfortable using the touch screen initially. Just on account of not familiar with it. I'm in such disgusting situation too. After using it for sometimes I than manage to use it rather smoothly. still having little problem to key in the wrong letters. Sometimes this happens typing the wrong letter either in front or after it. I would type A or D instead of S Yeah, the more and frequently we use it the less error would occur.
Happy posting

Glad to learn that you feel better using touching scree now Yeah, it's true that we would make lots of mistake when using new stuff that we are not familiar with. Less and less error would happen after using it for some time. Means that improving by practicing often. Certainly different stuffs have their respective pro and con. Anyway I still tend to use new product and prefer to face and learn from the difficult using it initially

The good things with my cellphone it always correct my spelling in English so I not need to worried about my spelling but when I typed mylot it always suggest me to use Jupiter. If I not double check I will become the other things.

You're not alone. My friend bought her touch screen phone 2 months ago but she's not using it regularly. She's still prefer to use her old phone with key pads.I just got my first touch screen phone 2 days ago,and my excitement was now change to annoyance. It's good for playing video and web browsing but a touch screen key pads for sending messages and commenting on my lot is not my preference.

When eating out in outlet where free wifi is available I rely most on my smartphone with touch screen. It's more convenient to do mylot post compared to the ordinary phone. At present my smartphone has replaced notebook when away from home. Although it's a 4.8 in tough screen yet it can serves its purpose well surfing net

I know the feeling all too well.
When I first bought my touch screen phone and realized how hard it is to use, I was so pissed I was tempted to throw it. But later on, a few weeks after, I got the hang of using the phone.
You will adjust to the phone. don't worry.

Although I mad with my new cellphone I will not throw it. It cost some money to repair it. By the way after 4 days I using my touch screen phone I feel a little bit better than before.

I feel a little bit better using it for typing after it near 1 week but I think when I using a cellphone with a keypad it still faster than I using a touch screen cellphone.

I don't like touch phones either because of that and how they are so big. I am fine with my flip phone and it has some qualities of a smartphone but just smaller screen. I would prefer a computer monitor anyway to do such things. I did hear of a program that you can talk and it will type for you. I don't know the name though :(

that is a normal thing to feel when we are new to such things, we get a lot of errors and mistakes upon using it but overtime once you do and use it all the time, you'll get used to it. you'll enjoy it more than the old way.

Hi,
I am using simple cell phone because I want mobile only for making and receiving calls and nothing else. I don't like phone with very complex operations. I had a phone having various facilities but I gave it to my wife and I bought a simple phone for me with simple functions. My son has costly mobile. He can operate it very easily. You can also become expert when you have more practice. We feel uncomfortable when the thing is new and we are not used to of it.

I know the feeling. I have the LG Motion at first I was always calling people accidentally...Screen lock is your friend. I decided that the apps was worth it more than a few accidental calls tho...I'm sure you'll get used to it...Good Luck

Touch screen cellphones are pretty easy to use, it's all a matter of getting used to it, really. The future is heading that way so you should get familiarized with using those type of phones, because one day they're all going to be like that — or even worse!

I have a touchscreen phone, and i really like it. It may seem confusing at first, but once you start using it, then you will really like it. i know what you mean about text messages though, as I make the same mistake all the time, but then I have a stylus that I use when I am typing texts, so that I won't make so many mistakes. I have used other phones before, but I never liked them all that much, like I do the touchscreen. Iake care. and have a good day.

Hi akamarukei!
As you continue using that cellphone, you will get accustomed to it so don't worry. Personally, I don't use a touch screen because I still have my old phone with me and so far it is still working so I am not planning of buying a new cellphone as of now.
Have a great day!

It is nice of you that you have a new phone, as for me i am not having used of touch screens because I hardly have a time typing I'd rather use a phone that is not a touch screen coz' its easy to use.
As you said it is your first time using it you'd probably get used to it. I know you'll adapt it just take time for it to know more of the useful things of your phone.
