I had been following the story about the two boys, that attacked the young 16 years old girl, and I was listen the the reporter, and she was taken up, for the 2 boys that attacked that girl, she was saying how one, was crying in court when he heard the verdict read, how he broke down crying, when he said he was sorry, the 2 boys never said they were sorry, for the attack it self, and one boy posted the pictures on line, so everyone could see them, he is really sick, and they said they may be more people that will get arrested from this case, who knew about it, but didn't come forward, like I said they got what they deserved.

I'm sick of the media BS about how those boys had promising futures and going to jail is ruining that for them. They are going to jail because they deserve to go to jail. God forbid they have to take responsibility for their own damn actions and suffer the consequences for the poor choices they made.

You did not give the link to the story and I only can imagine from what you are saying. Still, any person that attacks a 16 year old girl should go to jail. This is not a case of saying "I`m sorry" and forget about it. It is a good thing that they are sorry, but they also have to pay for it.

You can post links to related stories, TLilly. It's referal links that you can't post. A link to this story would have been appropriate.
Marguicha, it took place in Ohio and it was disgusting as was the media that followed and rather than focus on the trama that the girl went through, it focused on the ruined lives of the boys. One boy did break down crying but only after his sentence was read to him. He cried for himself and not for what he did to this girl. It was all about him. I believe he said, "No one is ever going to want me now." Oh well, too bad, so sad.

I am not going to post any links, I don't want my discussion getting deleted, if you want the story check the news online, everybody is talking about it, it's even on twitter, I still say those 2 boys, got what they deserved, no girl should have to go through that.

If it took until the verdict was read for the one boy to start crying and apologize that is Sad, but at least he did. If there are others involved in this case, I hope they will be caught and brought to court, and justice will be served. Too many times nothing happens when a girl is attacked until the boys or men continue to do it and someone is seriously injured or killed.

I read about this yesterday and was actually disgusted about the "Promising future" opinion. In my opinion our future is mostly about what we do today, and I say mostly because I still believe in divine intervention and maybe luck. For what they did, I guess the only promise their future holds now would be hard times, still, like I said, I believe in Divine intervention and maybe luck, so there's still chance for this kids to have a good life maybe if they start making up for it, but as for now and as always, they have to face the consequences of their actions.

Those boys deserve everything they get and more! They got off lightly in my opinion. They should be grateful for what they got. Their crying was only because they got caught, not because they were sorry for what they did. And who cares that they were on the football team? I am sick of hearing about them being so good because they were on a stupid team! That gives them NO right to do something illegal like this. All who were involved should be punished.
They had no heart for no one helping that girl. She was obviously drunk and no one thought it was smart to take her home or help in some way! No, instead they took advantage of her when she was at her worst! How pathetic!

Some people are sick. Like a sick dog. And need to be put down or kept away. Like in jail.

They should be punished for what they did.. I think they deserve worse than jail! They deserve for the same thing to happen to them as they did to her.

Law is about reforming people who err and controlling harm to others. I do feel many of the laws that we have are simply for controlling harm to others. Having said that, reforming people is a tougher task. I wish we had ways and means and techniques to do that. Unfortunately, people have not found a way around it. Till then, controlling harm is the only way available to us.

If someone does something wrong they should pay the consequences. What they did was terrible and I don't feel sorry for the boys one bit. I feel they should make more examples of people, as the people shouldn't stand for such things to be done and not enough justice being served. The media is a joke for the most part and just trying to get ratings no matter how they get them. It is very sad.
