Can coconut water cure sore throat?

I'm having sore throat right now. It is almost time to leave work, I can stopped by the supermarket to buy some coconut water. We have freshly cut coconuts here but it can be quite troublesome. There is also the canned type. Can I buy the canned type? Do they come with the same healthy goodness?

Hi Friend, I have heard that Coconut Water cure sore throat. According to me drinking Coconut daily is good for health.

Personally I don't like coconut water. I haven't heard that it's good for a sore throat. Here we can buy it in a can and it is supposed to be healthy for you. I hope it works for your throat.

Thanks. I bought the coconut juice but have not drink it yet. Will try tonight. Sore throat got worse this morning.

I have read that Coconut milk (made by blending the water and flesh from a young coconut) can be used to relieve sore throat. But I am not sure how does that happen. Here in our country, it is the ginger ale that is popular here.

I drink hot ginger tea with lemon for sore throat. Coconut water is for kidney problems
