How much do you trust your company?

At work the other night a guest asked me knowing I was scared of heights..." If your boss came up and told you we need you to go down the zip line from the top of the castle, would you do it?". My response was " I trust my fellow cast members enough to know they wouldn't let me get hurt, so yes absolutely I would, but I would be terrified". He was floored and said that was the best response he had ever heard. If your company asked you to face your fears would you trust them enough to know they wouldn't put you in danger or in harms way?
