I gained 10 pounds in 5 months. I didn't wanna go for supplements, so I searched for home remedies. I found one according to that you can loss weight by having apple cider vinegar in water/juice. I gave it a try and boom..... I lost one pound in first week. It was very hard to drink in the starting but now it's a daily routine for me.
How about you, have you heard of apple cider vinegar for weight loss? Have you tried it?

A lot of bodybuilders use apple cider vinegar and there is some merit to the claims people are making about it. From my own research, we have to be careful with the acidic nature (it's bad for your throat and teeth) of apple cider vinegar. It speeds up the metabolism (forgive for not being able to disclaim my sources as I searched it on the net some time ago and I'm only going by memory) Anyways, we should not take in anymore than 3TBS of apple cider vinegar a day. I believe it also helps to slow down the process of how fast glucose is absorbed into the blood stream. Yes, I have tried it. Currently I use Green T as a fat burner.

I use cinnamon too in my oatmeal everyday. Cinnamon is great for keeping your blood sugar in check as well. I opt for vegetables, whole grains, and fruits for all of my macro and micro nutrients. I also believe in supplementation since a lot of vitamins/enzymes are destroyed in the cooking process and since I eat no meat (the biggest source of b12) I do take a b12 supplement. My thinking has changed considerably in the last three years as I have done more reading and researching.
Enjoy your day :)

Hi Arieles,
Yeah, green tea also does wonders. I add a pinch of cinnamon powder. It adds a little taste to green tea and studies say cinnamon powder helps in reducing the belly fat faster. But not sure whether its true or not. Even if cinnamon doesn't do anything at least it's adds taste to green tea. I believe in natural ways of losing weight rather than going for supplements.

I agree, it's smell is very strong and has a very bad after taste. You will feel sour throat.

I just add one tbs apple cider vinegar to 8 oz of water and drink it in the morning and in the evening.
It proved very helpful for me. Hate it's taste but a big fan of its work :)

I have never hear4d of that for weight loss, but the way I try to lose weight is by walking, primarily, and trying to cut back on calories, which can be quite hard. I think i need more willpower for that one, as I do have a tendency to eat more than I should. I do make a drink every morning though, that consists of leafy greens and fruits. It is put in a cup with added water, put on the machine, and it pulverizes tje leafy greens and fruits, and makes it into a good tasting drink. It might now look appealing, but the drink is delicious. I use frozen fruits mostly, as they will keep in definitely, and I usually just use a handful of each, and I put almonds in the drin too. It is good for the immune system, as i use blueberries for every drink, as they are a good antioxidant. I have been fighting my weight for many years, and now that I am taking this drink, it is coming off, but slowly, and that is a good thi8ng. Of course, the walking is helping too. Take care, and have a good day.

I tried to cut my intake of snakes but I couldn't do it. I can not stay away from food.
Walking is definitely helpful in losing weight but couldn't go out because of winters and hate to spend time in gym. :(

I have heard of that along with other similar drinks with lemons and other fruits. I think it just helps wash things out a bit in our system and maybe force us to drink more water which ultimately helps with weightloss. It's no fun trying to lose weight... but cutting calories and exercising is the way to do it.

I agree that walking and exercising is the best way to lose weight, but I don't like going to gym.
Vinegar helps in avoiding snaking.

Hmmm... interesting! I am not much into weight loss, I have resigned my fate and learned to accept that I am plump. What caught my attention is the effect of apple cider vinegar on blood glucose absorption. I am diabetic and no matter how much I stick to my medication schedule and stay away from sweets and carbs, my blood sugar still goes up every time I eat. I will definitely try this. Blood sugar in check, weight loss benefits on the side. Good job! Thanks for this health tip.
