I am in my 3rd week at my new job and it is going great. Still alot of stuff to take in but the majority that I have learned, I'm picking up very well. I been doing things on my own and only asking if I'm unsure of something which isn't very often. This past week I started making lots of phone calls to workman comp carriers and no fault carriers on claims that are on hold and she stated I did really well making those calls. So it's great news. There is still more stuff I have yet to learn but she doesn't want to throw it all at me at once but I'm ready for some new stuff, hopefully soon.
I took this Friday off work and they approved so I have a 3 day weekend heck yea and I took a day off last week because I was sick. I don't think this will make me look bad not like I'm taking off all the time. I won't need another day off until end of april for my doctors appointment then no time off til August so I think i'll be good. But so far I have to say I really love this new job, I'm glad I made the change. So has anything new happened for you guys?

Great! Three weeks already. And you like it. Cool. I think if you use vacation time and such it doesn't look at bad for you. Glad it was a good change for you. I have court of Friday. My grandson is ODD and BEYOND CONTROL. I hope the judge will give him a severe wake up call.

I hope things go okay at court for your grandson. Yes I really do like my job even after 3 weeks. My supervisor and boss our impressed with how well I'm learning and doing things on my own already. They said I'm doing alot better then the other 2 new girls that are that so that makes me happy. Said If I keep it up and learn more things I could get a pay raise, I would really be happy about that if it happened.

Nothing happened at court. My GS decided he wanted a lawyer so all the judge did was to tell my GS that for the parental abuse he could get up to 3 years of probation and 30 days in juvenile detention. And he told him he needed to go to school. So rather than that it was a bust.
Sounds like you are doing well at your job. It is great when you have a job you enjoy and look forward to.

Well I am still at the cab company, but concentrating on getting a permanent spot for my jerky and got some good ideas along with another business idea going to where hopefully by the end of this yr I will be just working for myself. I just need to also make sure I have medical as well as this is another one of my main concerns.

hi Blondie I am so glad your job is going so well and you are doing great at it. That's the best thing about liking your job as otherwise its really tough to be motivated to go to work when you dislike your job.AS for me no changes as I am retired now for five years and having fun being on my lot and still living in Gold Crest retirement center.it really sounds like a job you will be in for a long time which is just great.

I am happy about the new job, my supervisor and boss said they are impressed with how well I'm learning and doing everything and they like that I'm willing to learn more and succeed. They said if I keep up I could get a pay raise, that's awesome. I love my new job and new co workers.

Good for you!, It is good to get a job!!! It keeps us busy and active. At the moment you feel excellent by working. I suggest you to do some exercise so you keep fit because you spend many hours sitting on the phone.

You are so diligent...even in new place. When I come to the work place I need longer time to adapt with the new situation. So, I more be careful to do something. in my country too active in the first times of new job is impolite, we have to be calm while learn more about culture and habit of the company. Most of employee know that new employee usually learn everything in new company carefully, it is good behavior in my country. have a day day in your new job.
