When will they ever improve?

In the Philippines, although there are only 2 or 3 giant networks, you really cannot afford to be loyal to only one. I have been using one network for 10 years now and I guess this is the best time for me to either switch or get another line. What if I need to call for an emergency? I thought their services in the globe is satisfying but I think I'm fed up by the their one excuse, "Sorry for the inconvenience but we are currently improving our services, please bear with the interruptions in the network, thank you!". I guess I'm too disappointed.
When will they ever improve?
Switching now?

I have recently subscribed to Globe for my handphone/Cellular phone. I have been using Sun before for 4 years. Believe me Globe is better than Sun and prior to Sun I had a Smart phone provided by my previous company. Here are my observations:
1. Smart - signal is good, especially if you are in the provinces. What's bad is that if you are in a prepaid account, their customer service is ALWAYS busy. I have never been able to contact one every time i lose a load, and every time i had to unsubscribe because their services would automatically be subscribed to you (loads are eaten away). This company iis such a pain to deal with, I had to cancel because their cost is much more expensive compared to Globe and of course, Sun.
Oh, also, their charges are much expensive, say they have a free S3 for plan 2000 but that's only plan 1799 for Globe.
2. Sun Cellular - I had this as a secondary phone and it turned out to be better in the last couple of years especially if you have a lot of friends on the same network. Calling and chatting has been so easy. Downside is they will cut your call every 30 minutes so you will have to just call each other again. Downside is the unlimited is only applicable to the same network (SUN) but then if you would send a message to other network friends, this is where the bills would get doubled. I had a plan of 350 but my bill would be on the average of 800 each month and i am always wondering why, because i use my smart for other networks. So we know heree there could be charges as well (even if they say you have 250 texts to other network). hard to say unless you would keep track of all your messages! They have very limited phones, mostly the phones are not competitive, and they do not even have iphone in their lines in Sun.
3. Globe - my very first number is Globe. There is always that prestige associated with this brand. if you ask me. The masses are on Smart, those with partners have a second phone and its sun... but if you have globe, it is almost always a feeling that you are in the upper class. Besides, Globe was the first network around, right?
When it comes to their service, i have a plan with them... my brothers too have and our landline is a globe line too. their service is not perfect but believe me its better than that of the smart or the PLDT. My smart refund is still unprocessed to this day and that company haven't returned what they owe me still and not one is even caling me to update me. Globe have been improving their service and their customer service is so much better now that they would even ask you through text if you were satisfied with the help that you received from the agent that you have spoken with. Their talk to globe is okay for me, my experience has been really notable in the past few years that i have been subscribed to them.

What a comparative observation! Thanks so much, chiyosan! Just what I need :)
I will stick to globe then, and get a Sun line for emergency purposes :)

Hi this inconvenience has happened to me in the past. My load balance would suddenly turn to zero for no reason. I called custoner service to complain and they fixed it. Well over the years i have still been hearing some cases of these inconveniences with these networks and i gues the best thing to do is to accept that they may take time to improve. So for now just lets get them to fix things and just hope everything to be okay.

I am a globe user for how many years now because I believe they have a good service than smart telecommunications. I have another number under sun. It is much okay to have another number for emergency purposes
