Anybody see the advert on mylot?

Cashgopher is a program which is run by the same company as MyLot. To find out what it is and what it does, read the FAQs here: http://www.cashgopher.com/faq.aspx I have been using the program since it started in September 2010. At first, it seemed quite worthwhile. In the first month I earned $1.84 for doing virtually nothing. Gradually, however, the earnings dropped off and now it is giving me less than 1 cent per month. Some people claim that it slows their computer down. I have never found this but, because it uses an Internet connection, it might have a noticeable effect if your connection is already slow. Any claims that it delivers viruses are false. When the program is installed, some 'over careful' antivirus products may warn that it is dangerous. This is simply because of the way that it works and it is NOT malicious. Any such warnings can safely be ignored and CashGopher should be marked as 'allowed' in the configuration for your antivirus. Overall, my advice would be: It can do no harm to try it, if you want to, but be aware that it will probably earn you hardly anything at all and it may take 12 years or longer for you to reach the $10 payout!
