the premade sims

In my last few years of playing sims 3, I never played the pre-made sims because I discriminated them for "being ugly" Though yeah lots of them had been beaten badly by the ugly stick, I realized I judged them so fast, some of them, I always find them unattractive or un-ideal(majority of them have pudding faces) just because they dont have custom content,I realized some of them are not ugly at all, if will just customize them a bit they can actually be attractive.
someone told me the following premade sims produces good looking offspring: Mortimer Goth, Alana Kahale, Bunny Shore, Jamie Jolina and Don Lothario.
Majority of the sims in my town are custom sims I either downloaded or created. Now decided to end my discrimination against them so I will let some premade families created by EA in my game. I will let my sim marry some of them.
I believe majority of sim 3 players whether they use custom content or not usually avoid the premades.

I do have to agree that some of the premmade sims are ugly. Lol, and that may be the reason why I majority of the time steer clear of them. Another reason is I would just rather create and play with my own sims lol then ones that are already premmade. But I do agree that you can just make a few adjustments to those sims and they will look perfectly fine. I just still haven't played with any of them though, but maybe one day I will decide to pick one and play with one of them and just make a few adjustments on how they look. But I definitely agree some of these sims just look like they have been beaten with an ugly stick a real ugly stick.
I miss using custom content though, I haven't used it in awhile because I want to buy another computer, the game runs kind of slow on the computer I have now, so I know when I get another computer I am going to load it up with all the custom content. I miss it so much.

I still have custom content and store content but I have no plan to adding their population.I am already happy and contented with what i have, I know hoarding them will slow down my game,so I download the ones I really like. Based on my experience custom appliances and clothes have tendencies to slow the gae but custom hair would not as long as the amount is moderate,
Mortimer Goth is very popular to any simmers because he doesnt produce ugly babies, with premades and with self made sims.
If you kill of Susan Wainwright's ugly husband, she produces good babies.
If you have Sunlit tides, there is this Hawaiian girl named Leilani Kahale, she produces beautiful babies too. Her mother Alana Kahale also produces good babies, she is such an attractive premade, I didnt change anything with her.

if you have World Adventures, Premades from Egypt,China and France have asymmetrical faces.
If you have barnacle bay, there is a beaitful black female sim named bunny shore. she have amazing genetics.

One reason I like base game Trisha is it is faster to load without lagging on mine. With more mods and add on's I got the update and seasons it does take longer to load and I noticed just a couple of glitchs.
World adventures sounds interesting to me now Albert.

The developer that made world of the liquid hydrogen cooled cpu (made that one up) is sitting in his comfort chair making sims that can go work for Geeks Incorporated and make a killing. Only he can see it.
Seriously 5 gigs is not too much now but I might wait a little to upgrade to that. Thanks for the heads up. I like the game too much to be feeling bad about the dreaded lag.

Yes, the mods are a great improvement.
I can say I have some kind of strange affection for the premade sims on the base game for several reasons. I’ve played the base game so much without adding any mods is one reason.
It allowed me to get to know all the people in town. This constant interaction with those sims, I think although at times felt boring but so does life sometimes feel boring; allowed me to understand that depending on how I interacted with them, the towns folk would change accordingly. In one game if I was evil it had an effect or in another game differently if I became a good doctor.
Another reason I can associate with the standardised premade sims in the base game is because of Sims 1. While playing that game I ran across a picture of the real people, the actual creators of the game which at that time was not associated to EA games. In the picture, the group looked interesting like they were having a great time.
Since someone actually created the first sim families (The goth’s, landgrabs etc) they have some special significance that way, I think.

who are your favorite premades?do you let your sims marry some premades? since I usually play custom towns created by rflong7 (her custom worlds looks better than the store world, they were free and they have no custom content) tried to extract certain premades out of their towns and I decided to introduce them to my towns and see what will happen. I avoid townies and service NPC's though.

I believe some custom worlds wont work if you dont have the needed expansions, though during the time where I am base game player only, I get to make her worlds work but the rabbit holes are gone and I have to manually put rabbit holes on my own.
Based on my experience, worlds that requires pets and showtime wont work without them. (I have both pets and showtime now) The other worlds that didnt require without those 2 will work out fine.
