Don't Always Assume

Sometimes when I respond a discussion, I think I know the people who are from the United States. Well, I don't always know; I have assumed making the response awkward. If I choose to respond these days, I will do a background check so to speak. I will see where the discussion starter is from and take that into consideration. No need to assume things like nationality anymore. I really do not respond to many discussions, but culture and country can make a difference in the discussion, and I want to come across as respectfully as possible. Good idea don't you think? When I say background check, don't panic. I mean look at the information volunteered by the mylotter such as his or her country.

Hmmm. That is good. I also realized too that each people have different attitudes and it is because it
reflects from the culture they had in their own
country. So, if they response awkward for us, we already know what country they came from.

I look in my neighbourhood and don't know where people are from either. They could be from the United States because they look just like us. I think some are. I think the American flag and the Obama signs might indicate they are but not necessarily so either. We can always ask if we think they might tell you the truth.
Good discussion, so how can you tell someone is an American?
