fight in public

I always go to work by subway,a young man begun to wrangle with a girl for something, but then he gave the girl a slap in her face cruelly,everyone in the subway was shocked inclueding me,it is the third time i have seen this week.what should you do when you run into this matter?call the police or help to fix up the quarrel?

Just leave them it's their problem. You don't need the police.

Calling the cops would be the best option in such situations. Cause if you try to interfere than the person might quarrel with you aswell which would be the worst scenario.
