It's summer time in our country and some people are now planning trips especially around the Holy Week. As for me, I am not taking any trip anywhere. I will stay in our place and continue to work. I am not fond of traveling anyway, so I will be having a summer school sort of for kids. I usually have about 10 to 12 kids during summer. I'd been doing this for 14 summers already and I already have regular clients.
How about you? What do you plan to do this summer?

Not much plans for summer.I might visit my mom's hometown as I usually spend sometimes with her during summer.
Its good that you have sort of things you can do to make use of your summer holiday. Its also a good source of income.
Happy mylotting!

Its the first day of Spring here - happy Spring Equinox to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere! so we still have a couple of months until summer, but I'm already well underway with plans. As I live rurally and have a huge garden and lots of critters to care for I really can't go away much, so all I have planned trip wise is one weekend festival. However, I am hosting two charity weekend events over the summer where I'll have about a hundred people here for each event, and they take tons of planning :)

This summer I plan to get away from the sun as much as I can. I know I may come across as weird, but I really dislike heat and sun. I much prefer rainy, dark or greyish weather. Anyway, I plan on making some very important life decisions: where am I going to go now? What is going to be my next logical step? I'm just ending a very rewarding phase of my life, and am closely approaching the most important time yet — the time I put it into practice! So let's see where all of that leads me... :)

I only wish of traveling lol. With my job since I work in tourism I have to be around during one of the busiest seasons of the year...which of course is the summer. I do want to do quite a bit though locally on my days off. I love going out doors with my kids to the lakes and to the pool....and of course lots of bbq's too :)

That is so nice of you to be running a summer school for kids. I will be leaving at the end of next month to visit my daughters and their families in New Mexico. I will stay there for the month of May enjoying and helping out with my precious grandkids. I have two granddaughers age 7 and 1 and a grandson age 2. So it will be busy but fun all at the same time. I miss them all so much and sometimes skyping is just not enough.

I just quit with being a scout leader. My youngest two will go to school till June 15. After that I planned to go on vacation with an elderly daughter as well for 1.5 week or so. Might be I will go to Africa during the rain season as well but am not quite sure about that since it will surely cost way more as I want to spend. This besides of the bigger change to catch malaria (also I am not that crazy about rain day and night).
If not I will spend a part in the Netherland and a part in Hungary (perhaps I even go to Romania again with a friend but at the moment I am not really in the mood for that). So might be we stay at home, sleeping, relaxing, painting or designing clothes (mix of African and European style for a tailor in Africa).

April, and May in Beijing is the golden time to play outside, flowers will open at the time, trees are turn to green, after a long cold winter, this definately make me thrilled.I'll take my family to some suburb park,to enjoy the time, the timing must be treasured, cause only 5 or 6 weekends we can use.
By the way,I'm touched by your professional work.Wish you enjoy the time with kids. ^_^

It's also summer time here in our country. I plan to stay at home and read some books and write so that I can improve my skills. I also have some online sidelines, so I have something to spend my time with.

hi there cutie18f.
i'm curious about the summer class that you have for kids. please share what exactly it is that you do.
as for my travel plans, i usually go on a road trip with my close friends. however, this year, we haven't made any final plans yet. i doubt if we will have something mapped out in time for holy week. my best guess is we will have one by april or perhaps early may.
my friends from college are asking me to join them this holy week to a trip to zambales. we might go to talisayin cove and i did mention to them that i went there last year and although the place is beautiful, it has no electricity so spending the night can be a challenge to some. i did recommend the place for an overnight stay. my friend was suggesting nagsasa cove. i haven't been there so really no idea. we might end up going to both places if our time and budget will permit it. still no finalized plans yet though.
another travel plan involves my family. we're most likely go to a beach, subic possibly or even batangas. again, no date has been set up for this.
otherwise, it'll be a regular summer for me. i do have my sports to keep me busy and preoccupied. i've also enrolled my daughter to taekwondo class. it starts april 3. both of us are amped about it.
cheers and happy mylotting!!!

Well,I just retired from my teaching job. When I was teaching I always looked forward to my summer vacation, but now summer is just another day for me. I love summer because in Los Angeles where I live, there is always a lot of sunshine. In my younger days, I loved summer because I used to go to the beach with my friends.
Beaches do not give me that type of pleasure anymore. Hope you have a great summer. What kind of job do you have with kids? When I was a teacher, I worked with kids who were about eight years old

I will probably be going to the beach with my family, as we try to at least take one vacation during the summer together, as we do not have a lot of time during the year, because of work schedules. Probably my favorite place to spend vacation in the summer is at the beach in florida. It is just so relaxing and stress free. I also enjoy being able to spend time with my dad, as we have always been close, but haven't been able to see him much lately.
