Our bathroom light switch is actually in the bathroom so it is rare that someone would turn off the light when we are in the bathroom. However, this is something that will happen occasionally when someone is in the shower because the person that goes in to use the toilet will turn the light off out of reflex and that is something that can be quite frustrating.
As far as the light being off when I am using the toilet, that doesn't bother me at all because there are many times that I don't turn on the light when I go to the bathroom.

Hi dear
I can’t control my laugh by thinking how much voice you made there by that time. Hope no neighbours peep up to know what is happening in the next door. It happened with me, if anybody visits our home and they are confused with the switch buttons. I have done it intentionally when my children take too much time for bathing (in summer). That is the only way to give a signal, hurry up, you consumed too much time in bathroom.

Hahhah...dear this is a good way to say the children do hurry up and come out from bathroom because you cant wait due to office time. I was also laughing when writing this discussion because I feel if the time is night time and someone switch off the light then how feel like darkness and fear...

Light failure is common, what you say happens in our home too; we have fitted battery and inverter for that, this can power 2 light, 2 fans in each room for 5 hours, the lights in the toilet are included.
You can ask your danger but sweet hubby to fit this.
Till than you go bath room with a torch light.
Here we have a new problem. My grandson Bishu will close the bath room door from out side; even if some one is there.

I find this very annoying as well! lol
But we usually leave the bathroom light on during the night, so it doesn't happen very often to find myself in a dark bathroom! However it has happened to me when I am in public toilet, in the coffee shop where I usually hang out with my friends. The light switch is outside the bathroom door and people that come in might close it by mistake and without noticing, so they don't turn it on again and I have to stay in the dark until I am ready to come out. My solution is to always take my mobile phone with me in public toilets. First of all because it has a "flashlight" app and secondly because I was locked inside once and had to wait for someone to come in the girl's bathroom to fix the door! That's why I feel safer with my phone with me!

What I hate, is when someone does this when you are like at a Restaurant, at work, etc and they never stop to think before turning off the light. It can be a scary feeling for sure, and I have had it happen before, and is no Fun. I would think in your home they would know you were there before doing this, unless they are so busy they do it out of habit and forget someone is in there.

I yell immediatly in those cases and the light is turned on. But sometimes, although it is not very often, we have some electricity problems just after an earthquake (I live in an earthquake country). I have nicecandles with matches nearby in every room of the house. When that happens, I leave a couple of candles light up in a safe place in the bathroom even at night.

Here no electricity problem because we have inverter but the problem is my hubby always do this without checking. Candle is a best solution when light is goes off.

God said " Darkness was upon the deep. Let there be light and there was light." When you are shampooing your hair the light suddenly goes off. The shampoo was all over your long wet hair and soap was over your face and your closed eyes. How are you going to turn on the water tap to rinse shampoo off you hair and soap off your face and closed eyes? You can see at all. My goodness, it is a bad experience!

Some people are afraid of darkness. Of course, when one is in the bathroom, darkness is even more fearful as one mistake can cause you fall down causing much injury to your body. That's why, I would say that you have made a clever move to not walk around in the bathroom back then. I had also experienced this short moment of darkness in the bathroom. My mother did not check and switched the lights off. Fortunately there is not much stuff on the bathroom floor, so I walked out carefully without harm.

Hi,
It is very funny incident for me. But when someone puts off the light when you are in the bathroom it is very annoying. Your husband should have been checked that no one is in the bathroom and then put off the light. After your shouting he came to know that you are in the bathroom.

If the lights in our bathroom went off, I would be scared, lol! Our switch is inside the bathroom just beside the door as you enter. So if there's no power interruption and the lights went out, I will have a screaming fit. Unless it happens during the day because we don't really need a light that much during daytime anyway.
