Ever since I got my kitten I've been thinking of all the funny times my pets have given to me and they really do brighten up your life a lot. This is my first cat, I've only had dogs before, and cats truly are something else. Don't get me wrong I love my dogs and other dogs and they do do silly things, but there's just something about cats.
My kitten loves to get into everything and explore the house. He's always finding a speck on the floor to play with or climbing on something. Now that he gets along with the dogs it's funny to watch him play with my one dog and try to wrestle her. I can watch them for hours and just crack up at the things they do. Even when I'm at work, all I want to do is go home so I can relax and play with my kitten. Pets really do make your life less stressful and they're a nice break from having to deal with annoying people.

Hi Courtknee,
Pets are such a blessing. I had a Yorkshire Terrier for fifteen years. She was the best dog. We would even take her with us on vacation. She was part of the family. It has been several years since she passed away. I still love and miss her very much.

Animals are definitely a nice change from our everyday lives. Whenever I'm at work I'm always thinking of getting to go home and being able to see my kitten and other dogs. I also have a horse and on days when I'm sad he's a good shoulder to cry on. Being able to ride him is also nice because I don't think about anything else

You lucky you have space for a horse. I use to go to a school where the residents had large properties and most had horses. You could even rid them around the road they were so common.

I agree! Pets add so much to our lives. I miss having a cat. I used to care for feral cats. I had a couple of them fixed after they trusted me. They came and went as they pleased. I really did enjoy them.

They really are good for your health and they're enjoyable to have too. It's always so nice coming home and having the dogs and kitten so excited to see me walk through the door. Animals are just so innocent and I think it's part of what makes them so cute

Yes! Animals do bring such joy to one's heart! We have 2 dogs. They are outside dogs, but they love to walk and play with us. I can't walk them because they would run me. My daughter and her hubby do their walking.

Oh no! I'd be devastated if I had an allergy to animals. Have you heard of siberian cats? They're supposedly hypoallergenic. A friend of my mom's has one and she has super soft fur that doesn't shed off when you pet her. I don't have an allergy so I'm not sure how that type of cat is on allergies but people with allergies

My one dog is like my mom's baby. I guess we think of them as our children because they depend on us to take care of them, just like a kid would.

It's good to have pets. If taken good care and givin love and respect, pets actually can and will change our lives. I believe pets might be a better choice at times of our loneliness than other people.

I think so too. Whenever I'm mad or sad all I have to do is snuggle up with one of my pets and worries seem to melt away. They're quiet and they don't judge you, they're just there for you when you need them. I think they're really good to have around

Over the years since my childhood I have had ever so much joy from my pets present and past. Currently I have two miniature poodle dogs called Secret and Magic. They are loving and sweet doggie companions that I adore.
My first pet that I remember was a white rabbit with pink ears. She was called Miffy and I got her when I was 4 years old. My sister had a guinea pig. My mum and dad had got two pet cats in my childhood called Sylvester and Tucker. Sylvester we shortened to Ester. He had china blue eyes and white fur. She was brown with a white mark on her chest. I remember those cats which much joy and love.
I had two pet gerbils called Nod and Wink. I remember them with happiness and love. Later on I had two gerbils called Salt and Pepper. I remember them with loving feelings and lots of joy.
In my teenage years I had a rabbit called Sally and my sister had a rabbit called Tiggy. I loved to watch her hop around and dig in the earth. I remember those lovely rabbits with love, joy and delight.

Kittens are cute to watch and are so cuddly. I miss my cat so much. I will say that the house is easier to keep clean, though.
