Having second thoughts. I'm torn between my studies and this opportunity that is waiting for me in Hong Kong which may lead me to live in Thailand too. I'm just months away on getting my certification and I'm also afraid that this once in a lifetime opportunity might not come again few months from now. I'm not that secured. But, as what has my father said, I'm still young and for now, my studies should be my priority. Both are important to me. The opportunity that I have in Hong Kong might be another big break for me, but... I'm also tired of stopping then continuing my studies. I might loss my interest on going back to university and would permanently stop studying soon. That's what scares me. What should I do? I'm so confused. I don't know which one I should prioritize right now! Any suggestions and advice are welcome. It will be highly appreciated.

If you have no pressure to start earning money, then I would highly suggest you to go for your higher education, because in this highly competitive world sooner or later you will definitely require the need of a higher degree for a progressive career.Good luck!

You can either earn a degree while working part-time or get a part-time degree while doing a job.Do what suits you the best but never leave the study in half way.

There are actually pressures on both earning money while earning a degree. So, imagine how torn I am choosing between the two. Especially when it's a choice between where you should be and where you want to be. But, I'm glad I have spill my decision now.

I am glad that you let people know your decision to go for your diploma. I'm sure you have many more decisions to make before your life is over. Now you can focus on one goal and be successful. In the future there will be other opportunities and those might come from the contacts you have already made, who knows.

Hello there my good friend Marie. I really wish that I could help you out with this important decision in your life. However, it's one that ultimately lies within you. I personally think that since you're still young, that you will have other opportunities besides the one that you're being offered now down the line. However, if the opportunity that awaits you is viewed as a once in a lifetime chance, then maybe you should strongly consider it. This definitely sounds like you're at a crossroads in your life, which is something that we all find ourselves at. I wish you all the best in your choices, and remember that I'm here if you ever want to discuss anything. All the best!

I agree with your father. Your studies should be important right now. I plan on making that my priority too and going to school this fall. Not going to let anything hold me back. Yeah you may be right and you decide not to go to school right now and you continue to put it off. It just be best to go ahead and stay in school and finish it up. Then you will have better opportunities later on down the line. Good luck.

You father is right. While you are still young , finish your studies. Because once you have the diploma, there will be more bigger opportunities that will come your way, edsss. You said it's just a few months before you can finally finish your studies, so why not do it first?

Try to think first what are the benefits each decision you are about to take. What its your real passion? Which of these are more important? You have the decision to choose yourself? For me, I'd still like to continue studying, like your father said, your still young and there are a lot of opportunities that are still waiting for you out there. If you start working, you might not be able to find time to study those that you actually like. If you continue with your studies, take that as a bonus when you place them in your resume the more skills and knowledge you learn more opportunities you can get.

I left and went back after seven years. It was not the same at all and I was not prepared for the shock. I still feel like I would like to reenter education mode but I know I could never handle the work load. I might take one like subject and that is all. I think you are correct to feel the way you do for it might be the right time for you to study. It is not easy turning down an opportunity however and certainly you want to be sure so to never have a regret. Be logical with pro's and con's but remember to ask your heart too. She always knows best.

Hi edsss! There will be new opportunities that may be coming in from time to time. What is important is that we have the basic requirement so that we may be able to get this opportunity. Education is one. So personally, I would suggest to concentrate first on your studies. Have a great day!

For me finish your study everything will be open to you in the future if you will finish your study. Education is your foundation in the future that no one can grab so please finish your study if you have the opportunity now. Going to HongKong at you status now is no big deal. Many opportunities will come after finishing your studies.

Hi friend, I think your father is true. You should finish your study and get your certification. most of students cannot finish their study because of money, when they have money they do not appreciate to the knowledge and certification, so they lazy to finish their study. They think that having knowledge for money, so they never care with the knowledge and certification because they have money now. But this thought is not true. Knowledge is not only for money but also for your self-esteem. But, everything is up to you, your future in your hand...
