While everyone is asleep ...

. . . some people are still awake. There are people who are still working. There are students who are studying for the year end examination. There are women who are half-asleep because they have to nurse their young ones ... like me.
There are also people who are here in myLot enjoying the discussions. There are people who are awake because they ae thinking of the future. There are people who are wandering in the streets or in their minds.
What about you?
While everyone is asleep ... what are you doing?
Do you sleep earlier than everyone else?
I used to go to bed when every one is about to get up. I am an owl. I love to do things at night. It's quiet and no disturbance.
Friends, let's share each other's moments while every one is asleep.

While everyone's asleep. I'm here playing my guitar and reading the 3rd book of the Game of thrones series. In other words. I'm just doing the same old routine hobbies I've been doing before I go to sleep.

Oh, until now I read a book if there are times I cannot sleep quickly. But I don't play any musical instruments. I thought games of thrones is just a tv series. What is it about anyway?

When everybody is asleep, I'm here laying on bed - thinking of a lot of things. First and foremost the security for my family, that's always the first thing I thought. Then the future and what I can to make my life the way I wanted. Ahhh! Lot of things! Xx

Same here. Been there. But I tell you the more you t hint of it the more you'll be depressed and do nothing. What I've learned is just do what I can. Prepare what I can and trust my whole family that we will help each other. Anyway a family s not a one man show, everyone I involve.
I'm not saying you stop thinking but instead set some goals ... Short term and long term ... Make them happen. By the way, involve your loved ones.

A long time ago I worked 10pm to 7am and loved it. Then I had a child. I found that I could not get any sleep while caring for even a tiny infant. kNow, I sleep at night like most folk.

I go to bed anywhere between 12:30am and 3am in the morning. In fact we are the last to go to bed in my neighborhood. So we are careful to be extra quiet so not to wake others. I'm usually on mylot, reading a good book or watching a good movie. I can't go to sleep early unless I'm really sick. However, I hate to go to bed when the birds are chirping already because that means I'm going to have a wasted day ahead. Breaking dawn also is not healthy for you especially if you do it all the time. So if I get a good 6 to 7 hours of sleep that is good for me. Like last night I went to bed about 2am and was up by 8:30am.

Sleeping late is bad for us even though we get that six or seven hour sleep. The repair period of our body starts before twelve. I think it's around ten in the evening. I too is guilty of sleeping late but since I don't want to get ill I try to sleep early and continue what I wanted to do early in the morning.
If ever I wake up early, I try to take a nap in the afternoon because I need to recharge my body or else I won't last the day. I'll be wasted too and useless.

Me too. I'm still awake. Doing my left-over works since I took a 3-day break from work and now, I have to pay for it.
But really, I like to work during the nighttime as it is the only time of the day where I can find peace and I can do my job without any disturbance.
Not being able to sleep at night was a big problem for me before, but, now, I make it as my advantage to do anything I like. I am more productive! Hahaha.

Nowadays, I go to bed early, as I have a sixteen-month-old daughter, and I have another one on the way. So, that's why I try to go to bed early, and try to get a good night's sleep. If I don't, it's not always easy for me the next day. As a mom, I think that you definitely need sleep. Luckily, sometimes, I can manage to grab a nap, while my daughter is napping.

I always want to sleep early coz I wake up real early. But sometimes, what keeps me awake is having to watch some good shows on tv. I rarely get to sleep after midnight, coz I would be really having a terrible headache after. I could not fore myself to sleep during the day. Coz if I do fall asleep, another headache is on its way.

The past days since i started taking simvastatin that the doctor prescribed for my a bit high cholesterol, i wasn't getting enough sleep. That's because at night, i can't sleep when i closed my eyes to sleep.
My husband woould be fast asleep, but me, i am still awake tossing and turning in bed. By the time i get to sleep it's nearly 11:00pm onwards. Then i have to get up at 6:00 am to prepare for work.
Thus, these past days i am always sleepy hence lethargic. I plan to make it up on Saturday night by oversleeping until next day, since it's my rest day from work.

I usually sleep earlier than the other people in the house because I am looking forward to waking up as early as 2 am in order to do my online activities. This is the perfect time of the day when the internet is faster, there are available work for me to do and silence is a very important things for me to consider.
Have a great day!

I'm usually a night owl, so I stay up a bit later than other people usually, too. It's like... I feel the most energetic at night, with some artificial lighting against the dark sky (my desk is at my window). Oh, and I'm definitely one of those students who don't sleep before an exam, and stay up late in the night and morning to study... for me, it works better to memorize all that stuff, and I can function without a day of sleeping properly, haha :D. Also, I kind of get addicted to mylot or some Facebook game from time to time, and I catch up on those in the nights, as well.
