It is common belief that most obese people are of short stature. This is largely due to the accumulation of excessive fat around the abdominal region of the human body. The BMI reveals the additional deposit of fatty substances causing overweight and obesity. The prime reason for this undue build-up of fat in one;s body is directly related to eating habits.Foods which are rich in animal fat are bound to increase bodily fat. Lack of exercises worsens the condition. While genetic part plays its own role individuals could very well impose self control in culinary habits to overcome the malady of obesity.

True! My husband's family are a bit on the heavy side. So 3 of my kids are heavy themselves. Good thing that when my eldest was 13 years old, he considered getting conscious with the food that he eats and then he started going to the gym at 17. Now he has a great body.

Not everyone can control their weight and you should be very careful about making 'blanket' criticisms of obese people. While some people have a genetic tendency to be fatter than others, many people have disorders such that, however much they diet, they cannot control their fat deposits. By no means all people who are fat are so because they over-eat and it is extremely and very genuinely hurtful to them to suggest that is the case! Please think very hard before you condemn a person for being obese!

Yes I agree with your perception regarding the significance of choosing the right diet in order to maintain the right body weight. Animal fat may promote the accumulation of more fat in the mid section? I was not aware of that but thank you to you, now I am one step further in knowing what to choose when the craving days come.. Ice-cream, cheese, chocolates, pudding are mostly comprised of milk but I love them oh so much!

indeed. Poor and bad lifestyle contributes too. Some diseases can develop and there are certain illness can make people real fat, but its the illness that make them obese.
