Sometimes it is not easy to express one's feelings - somehow music can express them better.
I just listened to a beautiful melody by Yanni, that was so relaxing. I can't remember hearing him before.
This melody is called If I could tell you. Enjoy!

Maybe someone knows more about the background of this melody and even knows the composer. Do you like this kind of music??
For me it is like he is describing a beautiful nature scenery.
Please share what you know..

I haven't heard Yanni in quite sometime. I think sounds like running water, birds, and nature type things are really relaxing.

For me he was a new composer - I am happy I found him. There are many compositions by him on the site, so we can listen when we want. I think he is describing the nature and the beauty of the creation - maybe we should listen to this kind of music so we are relaxed more often..

That must be a good way to relax, as much as it is possible in that situation..

I listened to classical music when I gave birth to my son.

I totally agree with that, music is one of the best thing where people can express themselves in a very passionate way. I'm also enjoying singing when there's an opportunity to sing on videoke, I love to shout my voice even though I can't align myself in the right note of the song (I'm sorry for all my neighbors...). Anyway, I love singing beause it helps me to take out all my stress, and it also create smile in my face, I don't know why but I feel happy when singing specially when the song is very beautiful. Before I sleep, I tend to listen into music because its very relaxable.

Music is a wonderful gift, so keep singing..your neighbors will survive as long as you don't sing loud in the middle of the nigh.. you can always tell them you are not friends with the composer, so you have made your own melody to the song..
Listening to music is good for relaxing..have to do that more..

Correct, I agree with you. I love singing and I'll do my best to calibrate my voice into an unstoppable music machine. Maybe I'll go check and watch some video tutorials of singing in youtube or ask someone who can sing beautifully of how they're singing in tune. Anyway, you're a funny person, you made me laugh while I'm reading your comment to me in my response. :D

Music is another way for artist to express his/her inner feeling without words to the public, it is a more subtle way for one to showcase his talent through instrumental. Unlike song writer, who can convey the feeling through lyrics and words, making it easier to understand. Yanni and Kenny G no doubt are few of the greatest talented musicians who had given us the joy of listening to music by using their instrument in a way that is beyond common. Their beautiful melody often place me to sleep in no time at the quiet of the night. There is no way i can tell you what sort of feeling he is trying to convey, except themselves through listening to their music.

It can be difficult to use words to describe the feelings we have when we listen to music. There is no need to do it either, we just feel..
Music is a great gift!

With 2,348,312 views, it seems that a lot of people like it. As I was listening to it and tried to see what kind of emotions it would stir in me, I found it a little on the sad side. I guess, judging from the title, there is a little heartache in the music.

Yes, beautiful and sad. He must be describing feelings that he is familiar with, and most of us are too. I got this from a finnish Facebook friend. She is playing the piano in a video and I have it on my site too.
I found that Yanni also expresses a bit happier feelings.. I am listening to Beauty and Nature right now. A bit different feeling and the pictures remind of a paradise.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfz8E3dAAPM

Music has been an important part of the human life right from the beginning. The first book in the Bible talks about people who became musicians.
It really affects our feelings - comforts us and, as you say, makes us feel happy.

Yes, we should listen to beautiful music all the time - we would feel so much better - I often forget, but have to start listening every day. We have so much available online now.
I'm happy that you find it helpful..
I found A Love For Life - also beautiful. This guy is talented..
