and as I thought, it was a foreign piece of equipment to me..However
I did assemble it and call to activate it...Well the activition did
not go through even after a couple of tries..So she advised me that
maybe it was because I was transferring my old number to my new phone
it might take a couple of hours to complete... she did acknowledge
that it was a unlimited triple minutes for life phone...But thats
all I did,,waiting now for the activation to complete and and then
I may feel as smart as the phone....LOL....

I had a cell phone(not smart)for three months. My experience was such that I didn't like it and took it back. I wish I had the money for one of these smart phones. I would love to have one with several apps on it so I could use it and go online while out and about.

It is too bad that our technology is smarter than we are. I have had to call some tech assistance at one time or another and usually get a foreign assistant. I have sometimes had to get technology help three days in a row. Each tech tried a different thing. I was glad when it finally worked. Maybe I will get smart and get a smart phone one of these days.

To be honest The name smartphone was not what I was
thinking about..It could have been called anything.
I just got that one because of what it offered and it
was a prepaid with so many minutes and the minutes
would triple for life time and I know I don't use
it very often..

I am so glad that you got a new phone and once it gets activated I am sure that you will be happy. I want to get a smart phone for Randy eventually, but I need to save up for one and then see if AT& T has a prepaid smart phone. Right now we have a basic prepaid cell phone and it is okay, but we tend to miss calls and miss texts.

Yes she is right.Give it a time to complete the process. It's not a new number which gets activated within couple of minutes.Mobile number portability it needs confirmation from the both service providers so it takes more time.

I like having my smartphone, my brother gave this phone to me, and I use the service that he told me to join, and when I went to make my first payment, to them they went up on the price so I, cancelled my service with this company, and I signed up for anther phone service, which their priced are lower than the first one, and I like this phone service a lot.

hi there! =) hehe smart phones are really smart! sometimes they are even too smart for themselves! ;) I remember when i got my phone and then thought it was still not activated... then what happened was that it was already activated without me knowing about it. hehe i waited til the next day and boom it was already activated and no one even told me it was... so i just put in the sim card. :D

I had the same issues and experiences when I first got my smartphone two montha ago. I had to get used to it. Fortunately, all my numbers were saved on my SIM card, so I didn't have to manualla yadd all of them. But I had so much difficulty learning how to exactly swipe the pick up the phone sign to be actually able to pick it up :D.

Way to go for smart phones! I used to have a love-hate relationship with my smart phone because it keeps me second-guessing if it's really smart or I am stupid, or is it the other way around. It sort of blows my pride that a mere gadget that fits in my palm can get me all riled up like this. Thank goodness for some ever patient techy friends that they figure a crash course for me is in order.

LOL yes Raine its probably going to take my grandsons
some time before I get it by I am not into cell phones
so its really not a real process of going bananas over
it...I just needed a cellphone that worked from any
location without me worrying about dropping the call...
So I am not a dummy so I will get it...LOL

Did you order this phone online or at a store? I only buy or upgrade my Smartphone at the AT&T store directly. I never buy such things like that online because when you do there are always problems.
