just a rant!

If I have to keep signing in every time I come to this site, I may not be coming around! Changed my password for the first time in how many years. I don't even know. And no there's no "remember me" option when I sign in! I've never ranted about this site before! And no I don't see a "contact" link. Well, that's it, hope you're having a good day!

Clear your browser's cookies, or manually remove the cookies for myLot if you don't want to lose active login sessions on other websites. Once you do that, you should be able to remain logged into the site. I've had the same issue several times in the years I've been here and that always fixed it for me.

Thanks! I hadn't thought of that! Probably messed up my cookies when i changed the password.. I guess I'll find out a bit later today if it worked! I hope so, cause it sure was convenient all this while not having to sign in all the time!

I have to sign in occasionally too. I did get tired of it but withstood it and now it doesn't happen anymore. If you want to contact someone write a PM to either Admin. or GoAskAlice.

Do you feel better now? It could be your browser that is messing up instead of mylot. Why do I think you are not using Firefox?

I think it is my browser! I changed my password, so I think it's messed with my cookies.. So I tried closing it for the night, as 3rd answer down suggested.. Now I'll see if it works! I hope so, as it sure has been convenient all this time not having to log in all the time! I use firefox. I like it much better than any other.

I haven't had to sign in for a long time. Only problem with that is just as sure as I don't check to see if I am signed in and post a long post that is the day for sure that I am not signed in. I would think after 9153 post you wouldn't have to either.

I'm thinking it's because I signed in via mobile phone (yes I was all the way in the living room instead of in the kitchen). I'm thinking this because I haven't been logged out on the phone! So maybe I have to decide which devise I want to use, or, not worry about signing in. I've been getting logged out today, even when I haven't closed my browser.. and I think even when I left mylot up on a tab! It's not so hard to sign in, though, guess I'm getting used to it. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
