So I was at my sister's wedding the past couple days and it was really nice. =) Everyone was pretty civil and it was a good day. My sister and her husband were happy with how all of the bridal party set up the place. It was really fun!
The only bad thing for me was my husband was sick with a stomach virus the day before their wedding. He was throwing up and it was really bad (me and the kids had it days before)... He was still throwing up yesterday too so he could not attend the wedding.
Other than that all went well. I sang at the wedding too and that went good! Just wanted to let everyone know that it went well and I will have pictures up for everyone to see as soon as my sister gets back from her Honeymoon. =)

Thought I'd pop in for a couple of minutes.
I'm happy to hear that the wedding is over and you had a good time. And like you mentioned, it probably was better, although unfortunate, that your hubby had the flu. At least you were able to be yourself more and not watch him grumble about the money.
The pictures will be fun to look at and I'm sure everyone will be waiting to see them.

Well I am glad you did! =)
Thank you, it went really well. Yeah, he was nice to me on the way home because of his sickness... That was one good thing that came out of it anyway.
I have 2 pictures on my profile here, I got them off Facebook from the photographer. =)

I am so glad that you were able to go and had such a great time. I am glad that your sister is happy and so is the groom. I am sorry that your hubby is not feeling well and hopes that he feels better soon. I cannot wait to see the pictures.

Glad you had a great time! Sorry to hear about your poor hubbie! What bad timing too, I was kinda hoping that the breakaway would do the whole family some good, especially what you've been through! It went quick didn't it. All that preparation, expense, planning and it's all over. I wish your hubbie a speedy recovery and it's great to have you back safe and sound my friend!

Thanks! You know, as much as it stunk that he was sick for some reason it gave him something else to think about instead of money, so today when he was feeling better he was much nicer to me. =)Guess it was kind of a blessing in disguise actually.
It went SO fast! All of the things we worked on together, including a special dance the bridesmaids did for her husband-and now it's over! I cannot believe how quick it went by...I said that to my sister and she said I know it went so fast for me too. It's crazy, it took a year to get everything done and it's over so quickly...

I will look forward to the pictures. Maybe something will come up that your husband will get to do that will make up for missing all the fun at the wedding.

Yeah we all felt so bad for him, he missed all of the fun! Yes I did sing and I liked it so much this time, I didn't freeze up like I usually do. I will have pictures here when they get back from their Honeymoon. =)

See, thats great that everything went well. I knew it would go well. I feel bad for your husband though. I know what its like to have a stomach virus. It is not fun at all. I hope he is doing better now. Now you two have to get on with things in your life.

Those viruses sure stink. I am sorry he did not get to go with you. Weddings are fun and there is always a good chance to visit.

Yeah this virus we all got was seriously awful. It felt like we were dying, I have not been that sick since I was a kid! But he is feeling better today and he went to work tonight.
It was so much fun and I saw my family that live in NY so it was really nice! =)

It is good to hear that all went well during your sister's wedding. Your sister must be proud of you singing on her special day. I hope I can sing too so I can serenade a few songs during my son's wedding in November. Unfortunately this could not happen as I don't have singing talent.

My sister was glad that I did sing at the wedding. She knows how I am with being afraid to sing in front of people so she was glad I said yes! :)

Glad to hear it turned out to be a nice day. I know a week or so ago you had said that you were worried because a few of you had gotten in an argument and that a family member said she wasn't going to the wedding. And, your husband was upset about the money spent...unfortunately he didn't even get to go. I bet you are glad after all that worrying that it was a nice day and that it is over :)

Yeah I thought it was going to be rough but it turned out to be great all around! Besides my husband being horribly sick, other than that it went super. :) We were all actually glad the aunt didn't show up because she is a drama queen!! Better off without her there. :)

Great that you had a good time though, considering the bad mojo that was surrounding all the expenses.

Thank you. He was much better once he realized I saved a lot of money because I could not eat most of the time due to that virus, then he couldn't eat for the next day... So we spent less than we thought we were going to. So, he was much better. =)

Your husband really didn't want to go to your sister;s wedding and he got his wish! Even though because he got sick! Anyway glad you had fun and everything went well at the wedding. I know the next wedding I will be attending in on 1/4/2014. The day my neice Randi is getting married.

It's not that he didn't want to go, it was the money that was the issue. But once we got there he was planning on going to the wedding. Too bad, he didn't get to go anyway.
Yeah we did have fun and everything went great! All of our hard work paid off. =) I hope you enjoy the wedding for your niece as well.

Yeah, my husband wanted to go once we got there but he is feeling better now. My sister and brother in law understood though, they felt bad for him.

Yeah I am glad everyone was civil. Oh wow! I cannot believe so many were drunk and fighting.
Some people got drunk at my sisters wedding too but no one fought or anything thank God! My brother in law's father drank too much and so did his sister. But nothing happened...

We all were in the dominican, so the entire week they were drunk. Her parents were trying to make my parents pay for the preist (it was an extra $700 - they didn't do their research and technically if they didn't pay the $700 they just wouldn't of got the paper proof of being married). My parents paid for the trip, and the wedding over $3,000 for them , then to pay for themselves to go on the trip for the wedding. Her parents didn't have the money, and saying how my parents did nothing - they just paid for it not arrange it, just showed up basically. Her mother was the evil witch, my SIL could care a less she didn't even want married, she even says she regrets getting married.

I'm so glad that everything went well for your sister on her special day! Sorry to hear that your husband had to miss it due to a stomach virus-I had one of those earlier this year, and it really knocked me for a loop for about 2 weeks!
I didn't know you sang-what song did you perform? And where did your sister decide to go for a honeymoon?

I am glad everything went well too! =) Thank you.
He was sick for days, we all had it before him and I was hoping he wouldn't get it but he did.
I performed the Sand Ceremony Song, that's actually what it's called. Lol, while they poured the sand I sang that.
They went to Disney and then a cruise, they will be gone for 2 weeks for their Honeymoon.

Wedding are just great events that we really feel so happy for the couple. It's good, too that you and your husband didn't have any more issues about it. I hope he is fine by now.

Thanks PQ. Well, on the way there it wasn't so bad, the first day of the virus is bearable. The second day is the worst of it. So, he wasn't traveling for the worst of it thank goodness. Today he was feeling better and went to work tonight.

Oh no, I feel bad for your husband. Hopefully he will be able to kick off the bug this weekend. I am glad to hear though that the wedding turns out to be so much fun and enjoyable for you. Thank goodness that no drama happened over there, your sister deserves a good day on her own wedding.
