Is joint family is better than a separate life?

It all depends on the coutry`s culture. In my country now, people usually live alone with their children. When they are of age they go away except if they don`t have money to do so.

it depends upon the attitude of the people you live with! Both are complicated on their own way. Try to be social, case that doesn't work. choose the latter! Luck is what i could wish you!

I am always in favor of joint family, my parents were with me till the last day, my wife, my sons, my daughter in law and grand kids live with me, it feels so good to be together, you can feel the importance when some one is sick. I am not in favor of kids living with wife/kids separately..

i always enjoy having my own space and privacy so i don't think living with all of my relatives would be fine for me. i do enjoy being with them for a few days on vacations. the day to day living would be chaotic if they were with me all the time. we are not a big family, i only have two brothers (one passed away already). i just can't imagine having my brothers' wives and children together with mine all in the same house everyday. even if we are a close knit family, we all want to have our own space.

Joint family is always better than separate life. because in joint family we learn about relations and respect for relatives.we learn about unity in joint family and children learns about various experiences of life with full enjoyment with all family members.

EAST OR WEST JOINT FAMILY IS THE BEST It depends on which type of society you have grown up and the mentality. For me joint family is good cos there are people around to look one another when specially crisis do come up. When husband and wife work for a living and new baby comes, it 's the moment of happiness but comes lot of responsibility too. If a child or mother or father falls sick then it really becomes difficult to adjust the time. For me when I am in a joint family there is always somebody to look after. But it depends on individual to individual.

In our country, we are a close-knit family. And you would really often see a grandparent being part of the household. I think this is a lot better especially when a couple needs to work, there would be elders to look after the children aside form having a nanny.
