Are you still in orkut?

so am I correct that it was a social media site for those in India? Many of those smaller sites, while still around, have fallen by the wayside thanks to Facebook - even bigger ones, like MySpace - were damaged by the popularity of FB. Personally, I like the site Gather. It's social, yet it's also a site for writers and those who wish to learn writing skills and expand their audiences.

i used to be in orkut...but not now though...was there during my college days..it mustve been atleast 5 years since ive logged into it...facebook became more popular in india a couple of years ago..until then most of india was in orkut...but eventhough orkut is still there now,none of them.uses it..but i myself have stopped using facebook as well...totally boring..

Long back orkut used to be one of the best social site. Even i used to have an account 2 years back i just thought of checking my orkut a/c bt i forgt the password n got it from my mail i checked it but no one had posted anything everyone is addicted to facebook. I now use my facebook a/c just for games. One thing i liked about orkut was we can make out who visited our profile..

Ya i am still on orkut but i am not using it now because now i am fully use facebook and i am addicted to facebook and i forgot my password and my username for orkut.

Ya i remember those days when we all use Orkut and we love to spend our hours on orkut but when facebook comes we all forget to use orkut and start facebooking even i also forget my username and password of orkut.
