West indies cricket

West indies have beaten Zimbabwe to make it six test match wins in a row. It is the first time they have done that since 1998. Yes I is against the three lower rank test playing nations but you still have to go out there and win games. Well done west indies. You have Pakistan coming up next, it will be much more difficult but they can still beat Pakistan 1 nil. They now have to test themselves against higher rank teams. They are now coming into their own. They still have a long way to go. What you guys think of west indies run of form? What you think of their chances against higher rank teams? Please let me know.

WI has always been a very talented side but they have too many players obsessed with T20 cricket these days .Gayle even made a statement that he finds test cricket boring.Once they put test cricket on top of their priority they will surely do well against big teams too.

Yes, talent is not enough you have to have dedication and application and of recent they are showing that. Gayle did say so, but he also made commitment to test cricket. It is not that they are obsessed with T20 cricket, it is just that it suit their cricket style. But we also have players who are suited to test cricket, like Chanderpal sarwan, samuels, gayle do also apply himself at times.

Yes Chanderpaul and Gayle ,both are very good players,they did well on all kind of pitches and i agree that T20 cricket suits cricket style of WI.I used few words of constructive criticism because i want WI to do well in test cricket like old legendary team of 70s and 80s and i believe they have potential to be a top test team.

Yea we all want them to return to the level of cricket once played in the 70's and 80's. World cricket also need them to do so also. We just need to apply ourselves more. Within the next 3-5 yrs I think we will get their. We have some young fast bowlers, batmen and spinners that should come to their own in that time.
