went to er yesterday to try to get help with my ears what a joke!

Hi for Me I have no choice the er is the only
place I can get Help.
for me 1 I can not afford insurance
2.the state cut me off because I make
$1.10 to much. no joke this is NY state
my ears are hurting right now becasue of
wax build up.
went i went to er the lady a nurse pa
this is what she she told,she she said
she has to see what kind of equipment
there is.for crying out loud it hospital
they should know what she had there.
she all so need a bath boy did she stink.
the lady who check me she all so need a bath
they both stink.the rn who was trying to
do my ears had no idea what she was doing
I had to tell her I need to sit up and hold the bowl
she want me to lay down with ear on the pillow.
that does not work,plus she was using cold water
for ears you need warm water.I think most of the people
in the hopspital just finshed med school.
I waseted 5 hr there yesterday. then the nurse pa there
nothing they could do for me.
as of right now im like death can not hear the tv, people who
talk,have pain in the ears,by the way this hospital is closing down
all the other hospital are like a hour drive to 2 hour drive
do not want to drive long distance when I can not hear
any thing.I guess when I get paid .i will buy the ears
candles.last year i had insurance the people at the hospital
still had probelms cleaning the ears.I guess with out insurance
even at the hospital the doctors will not help you.
I forgot what the doctor oath was call it started with a H.
there new oath is no cash or isuranse .do not bother comming
any one else ever have trouble with people not train
right at a hospital weather you have the means to pay for it or
not?

Personally, I think this is becoming an issue even with insurance as so many times, no one knows what is going on even if you do, and in order to do anything they need proof they will get paid for it. So instead they try to run test after test after test trying to find out what is wrong so many times before they can solve something if it is really bad, it could cost you and your insurance, etc a lot more.

Hi yes I know and for the people who have
good insurance how do we not know the doctors
are saying some one has something just to milk
the insurance companys.
one time I has state help and the people at
the local hoaptial did not know how do anything.
this was before they knew the place was going to close

That is so bad. I am sorry of what happened to you, and to your condition I hope you will be well soon.
As you said that hospital is closing soon, that is why maybe they are not giving you good service. Maybe you should try the candle thing, you can check the price online if you are too lazy or tired or iin much pain to go. :) Bless you and get well soon. xx

Hi thank the health food store has
the candles, but I need a friend to help
and it need to be done out side very smokey
and there still snow were I live.

I have a friend that lives in NYC and she says the same as you. It's a big joke there with waiting for hours with little to no help.
Have you tried ear candling? These can be found in health stores and my parents use them all the time. I don't know if they are pricey or not but know they work wonders.
I hope you find some relief soon.

Hi were I live it in the county
all most farm country.
in my area you get in fast with
the er the problem with
ears is they do not know how to do it.
in NYC the er have a lot of people
waiting becasue no one has insurance
who low income.the only place is
to go is the er for any kind of medical
need.that why the wait are long.
there.with ear candling I need
a friend to help.and right now
every one busy.if I live in NYC
I would been help right, even it
was a long wait,they have people there who have
the right trainning.were i live its kids who
just finshed med school.
and the hospitl closeing so they do
not care.ok have good day.
