In fact I don't understand why the manufactures have to make the brand new jeans into holes on purpose. I really don't think it looks cool. I also don't think why people will be interested in these jeans

Ouch! I got a pair of those kind of jeans and I have been wearing it for the past 7 years! I do not know what made me buy that pair of jeans coz normally you would really see me very "dainty" looking. Hahahah! But I think, I was feeling a bit bad that day....It was January 7, 2006. There was something that I was so annoyed about that I ended up going to the mall and just bought the pants worth 3 Thousand pesos!

I actually think they look very scruffy, call me old fashioned but walking around with holes in your trousers is not fashion, same as guys walking around with their trousers halfway down their knees showing all their underwear, gross! Why people would want to buy jeans with holes and pay more money for them than those without holes I can never fathom out!

I don't like this fad either....but I sure have a lot of jeans in my closet that just came into style My daughter and I went out for lunch this week and she wore her jeans full of holes and asked her to change before we went out and she said I just bought these for $70.00 some odd dollars. I don't get it either.

I don't completely understand it either, nor do I like it at all. As far as I'm concerned, it you have holes in your jeans, then you need to either get them patched or get new jeans.

It's like most trends , it will be out in no time. I think the companies will do anything to make money.

I do not like that kind of jeans too, but I think some people like to look different , something that other people look at them and for that they prefer that kind of jeans.

It is certainly nothing that I am interested in, but if someone will buy it, the manufacturers will create it.

Hello You Less. I think jeans with holes in look very old and scruffy. Making brand new clothes look like that is crazy so I wonder why the manufacturer does that. Jeans like that don't look at all cool or trendy. I remember one of my college friends was given money by an old lady so she could buy a new pair of jeans. We all thought that was very funny. In the 1980s we used to wear dresses with flowery patterns like those on old fashioned curtains.

I don't like this trend but same like other trends- jeans with holes is called fashion. Some people patronize this kind of style and that is the reason why manufacturers came up with this idea.

It's a rugged look and just one of the styles available. But me too, I don't prefer jeans like that, I prefer more those decent looking ones. But there are people who prefer to wear those kind of jeans, maybe for them they are cool and in style. Depends on preference. Good day!

I wear jeans like this when I an just doing stuff in the house. There is a time and place for such "aggressive" fashion statement like this. For example, this isn't church appropriate. But if I want to wear something like this in a friend's party or in my house, then I guess that's fine. It is comfy and I would rather re-invent old jeans this way. But of course I wouldn't be caught buying jeans that are already holey in the first place. I would make them myself or let the normal wear and tear do their job.

I think you can still see some "cool" young people wear the jeans with holes
23 Mar 13
I understand if there is maybe a little hole or two but not so many where there is hardly any fabric. I remember being at the park with my kids and this girl had on jean shorts with holes. She might as well have not even been wearing anything. Plus, the shorts were so short, the pocket on the inside was sticking out! So, I understand where you are coming from!

Ha ha, I hear you on that. I don't know why they are so popular. People want to look like they are bums, then I guess that's their decisions?

I do not think it is cool either especially if they are new, well i have original denim jeans, Levi Strauss, Wrangler and Lee original that had been with me for like 15 or 20 years+, natural tear and holes, some of them from battery solution drops but i still wear them, bought them brand new and expensive but still wear them as of now, then I think that's cool, but to fake them? It's like fake antique with a fake patina

youless I don't like the idea of buying jeans with holes either. Somehow I feel cheated. However, I have worn some of my older jeans that were starting to wear and put strategic holes in them. LOL The one thing I think is kind of cool about them is it is an equalizer...some who can't afford jeans can just wear theirs almost forever, and be in style

There are some which I like on certain people... the ones which look like rock star/I don't care-type, can look really cool on people who have a grungy style. But those yucky cheap machine-holed ones on "trendy" girls? Not cool.

I think this is one of the stupidest fashions, I have ever seen, I saw a young woman on the bus, with these kind of jeans on, and it was freezing cold out side, and I know her legs had to be cold, these young people can put on, some dumb looking clothes and thing they look cool, and all the time they look stupid.
