How to enroll in TESDA?

Hi, I was a graduate of four year college course but I took a technical training in computer programming in TESDA on a whim when I was in between contracts and there was a lot of time to kill. It all started when a colleague suggested it and all it took was a trip to their regional office and inquire on the course availability and requirements. I was able to avail of a P12,500 scholarship which took three months to complete in a non-government computer school, a "service provider" of sort. Some TESDA branch had their own training centers with the same rigid training programs and scholarsips. However, most of their courses center around industrial technical subjects like welding, electrical wiring, plumbing, pipe fitting, carpentry, things like that. It cater to the needs of a particular region. Ours is an industrial estate thus I am not aware of fashion designing being offered. I don't know in other areas, maybe it is.

The best thing you can do is check the TESDA website. Last time I visited the site, they had some online courses in technology, however, I am not particularly sure if they have some offerings regarding fashion designing besides sewing and pattern making. Some of the courses in TESDA are free with some minimal fees for projects. It is nice of you thinking of expanding your knowledge and at the same time pursue your dreams. good luck
