Where the current match between India and Australia stand, I guess, the match will be over in 4 days. The pitch is doing a lot of things and India were bowled out in just 10 minutes on the third morning with just 10 runs of lead. This is definitely leading to a result, but it's hard to tell which way.

The way Aussies were sledging and thumping their chests yesterday it looked like they will fight it out in second innings, but they surrendered totally, those 50 runs by Siddle gave them a fighting total but again they did ball good enough on a pitch with lot of assistance for bowlers.I never expected that Australia will play like this.

Forget how they played, forget how long they have been on top, forget how many world cups they won, forget all their records; for me one thing makes all the level - the sledging. Australia weren't the unfavorite champs for nothing. No one likes their sledging and that is best thing they can do when they are losing. This shows they have to depend on their verbal 'skills' instead of the batting and bowling skills to win matches. They will never get appreciation from me however hard they play. They deserved this beating and still deserve more than this.

If they had the ability to back their words or not is not important in my eyes. What I see the game of cricket as a sport. There is the body to prove oneself, what is the need to use words for that? Cricket is a gentleman's game and sledging can never be a part of the game. If that's done, then either it is not played in the spirit or the ones who do it, do not deserve to be called gentlemen.

Actually sledging used to be an additional strategy for Aussies but they had the ability to back their words ,current Aussie players are nowhere near those skills which members of old Aussie champion team had.Anyways this being aggressive thing didn't work out for them in the match, Jadeja and Kohli were targeted and both of them actually did very well after the tussle.

I don't think it is competitive. The pitch is doing all the things for the bowlers and remember it is India who has to face the 4th innings batting. I really doubt if India would be able to score those many runs. I think Australia is going to win the fourth Test.

Then it will be competitive...as India will not be able to compete those situations...

Sadly, the fourth and last test match against Australia got over by third day itself. Yes, the pitch was behaving wearily but I never expected the end on the third day especially when Pujara and Vijay were batting. They batted so fluenly that there was nothing to worry with the pitch. But the situations changed suddenly. But I have to say that test match was an evenly poised one. At the least I could find some fight from Australia in the first innings.

Yes, the match is over in just 3 days . That has hardly happened before. And yes, they would be indeed looking to go home early.

As per my wish......... Then I would wish such things that there would be records all around for India. And the records would be such that they could never be broken.

Hello abhi, 4 days may be too long if aussie dont put a fight in the second innings. Yesss! The pitch is playing hide and seek. But it will be the same for India too. This time I want the aussie to succeed. Hope they will!

Yes, now after seeing the score I too have started to feel that 4 days would be a tad too much. Actually Smith has just got out and there is the tail to come now. But remember the Aussie tail has wagged more than India in almost all the matches. If we are able to get them out sooner, it will be good for India to chase down the score. Otherwise, the Australian bowlers would soon be making merry.
