how you recognize that Diamond is real???

I don't think a person that is not a gemologist is able to just look at a stone and be able to tell whether or not the stone that they are looking at is a true diamond or a lab created diamond (or cubic zirconia). I know that diamonds are one of the strongest stones that exist in the world so there is little that can be done to destroy it, but still I don't think that hitting them with a hammer would be a good way to tell whether or not a diamond was a true diamond.

I really dont know. I have never had a diamond, nor will I ever have one.

Try blowing on it. If it's not real, it will cloud up.

I am not a fan of diamond...lol but my sister said that if you bite the diamond, it will feel like there is a dust in it while you bite it off course,, just bite and don't swallow it

I have never tried it, but if a diamond is real it will cut through glass. I don't know of any other way to tell other than having it checked by a jeweler!

I'm as clueless on this issue as you. If someone handed me a fake diamond, I would not be able to tell, unless it was really cheap, like made of glass or plastic or something :D.

There is no way to recognize a real diamond. Just believe the seller and purchase it.

Honestly I have no experience of telling which is real. It is good to bring up this discussion so that those who don't know wll be informed.

One thing I know is that a real diamond can cut through glass. And its luster is a lot diffetent from a fake one.
