I have finally watched this talked about film.. and it was really nice, i was impressed with the graphics and the story. Kind of like Cast Away, only in the water. It also had its very dramatic moments, when the tiger was dying and leaving him near the end... i actually cried a bit, if only i watched it alone.. I'm definitely gonna watch it again to understand and feel it better.

This one is based on the novel with same name and many people claimed that its very difficult to put this story on screen but Ang Lee did a great job.I am a sailor by profession , i know that its very difficult to survive in the Sea for so long and certainly with the tiger its next to impossible but the way director presented it never looked like larger than life kind of adventure which can only happen in movies, rather it looked quite real.Yes of-course its somewhat like Cast Away which had brilliant performance by Tom Hanks.

No just 356 pages, its a good novel.I do it other way round ,whenever a movie is made base don famous novel, i read the novel first because i had one experience,i read Murder on Orient Express and loved the book but when i saw the movie i was extremely disappointed .So since then i read the novel first, because of this rule many movies are still pending for me like Bone Collector,Golden Compass,Pet Cemetery,Misery,Warm bodies etc.

OH, it is just quite short then. I am currently reading Warm Bodies and am almost done, i have an ebook of it though, but i hate it since i do not like reading using my computer. I have watched Bone Collector, so there really was a novel about it. I watched the Warm Bodies movie first though and found out they cut out a lot of scenes - some even good and cute ones.

I saw the movie. The graphics were wonderful especially during the whale and the jelly fish part and also the meerkat island. It's a very moving story. I didn't quite understand it because I find it hard to understand the person's English. All in all, the movie touched me I almost cried.

That's great. The time we watched Life of Pi, it was midnight, so we couldn't play the speakers so loudly and we were getting sleepy so it is getting harder to catch Pi's words.
The world is a beautiful and scary place. Life of Pi is a very symbolic story.

I did watch this movie already, however, there are also parts that I cannot understand immediately. But as I move into reflection, I did get those values instilled in the movies.

I watched this last week at the dollar theatre and I was suprised by how much I enjoyed it. I would love to see it again, just so I can fit the pieces together as the movie goes along (having seen it once). I really loved it.
