Earning Money is Easier Than Earning Respect

I just thought that no matter how long you have been working and earning money, if you do not know how to to establish a good relationship and earn respect from people, it's all like nothing. I thought of earning respect by means of being ready to help, always open for suggestions and being good at what you do... what else do you think?

Well, some may earn respect because they are already rich. But it's not the same when even if you don't have money you are still respected for being a good person. Respect is earned and so is money. They are both hard to earn. But with respect, you can have it even without money. But with money you may not have it even if you already have it.

That's so true. Anybody can earn respect even-though it's not as much as the money they earn.

i think the way you earn respect is by respecting others. it's by having pride, honor, and self worth.

Earning respect in this life is not easy, because our world intersested about money more, and its not important to get respect if the other way is great, but that make us losing the sense of humanity,we have feel the feeling about the other, the we could feel deeply a good live :)

I agree with you. In many ways,, respect is not earned easily it takes time a lot of tests to prove yourself worthy of peoples respect. But it is generally easyif we dont break the rules

Both are difficult to earn. But the way to earn them is different from each other. Earning money requires some sort of cleverism but earning respect depends on honesty, dutifulness and sympathy for others in the society.

Right.. Those two things are have different ways get earned. But they are linked together in many ways.. Some earn money and earn respect.. Some earn respect even w/o money, some earn money but has lost sense of respect..

Indeed. Money is just the end product of your hard work, however, earning one's respect is something you can't impose on other people. If you don't know how to treat people with respect, no matter how much money you own, people won't learn how to respect you.

respect will make you money because respect could easily be converted to trust and once you earn people's trust, then making money would ensue. If you make money on your own but do not have the respect and trust of people then there is a good chance that well would dry up.

I don't think that's true. It's easier for many to earn respect instead of money. A poor person can earn respect by his behaviour, self esteem, the creative way he can Always manage, the more relaxing life style. Even if people don't like to admit it or even gossip about others, it doesn't mean they (secretely) do respect these people.

You have a point. It still depends to the person. He can be poor or rich for as long as he interacts the way what he think is right with the people around him then that should be fine.

Actually we people need not creat any image we should geniunely feel like doing good. If we will be able to respect ourself we will be able to respect others. As far as online or offline earning is concern i have noticed that even if you are telling people the Geniune and right thing for them they do not readily believe in you until they are little familiar with you. So creating a image seems important.
