it's an hp. The guy that did it fixes computers on the side. you get the best deals if you know someone like that as opposed to taking it to some big company. Shop around and ask people in your area. if this guy could get one for me and install it for 20.00 then you know that the bigger places are making a killing on this stuff.

Are you sure you don't have a macro running that you maybe don't know about ?? Or perhaps a nasty virus ?? Please provide more info like how long you have had the laptop and what uses do you put into it. Do you play games ? Watch movies ?? Download ?? I might be able to assist you. Please enjoy your day.

I don't know much about macro. I usually run anti-virus, full system scan. Been using it for about 2 years, browsing the net, watching movies and for downloading. Reformatted once. Thanks..

Hi,
Maybe it is time to get a new laptop. If one component goes, it is hard to replace it unlike desktops with its discrete components. Aftermarkets parts for a laptop is almost non-existent where I live and repairing one is counterproductive, ending up in reapir costs almost equivalent to a new one. I should leave the keyboard as is and use a natural desktop one via the USB, same with the mouse too, the touchpad is not much use anyway, at least to my experience.

Have you tried unscrewing your keyboard? Probably there is debris that is stuck on arrow key. You might want to vacuum it out or maybe buy another one.

Hi! Is it your first time to uninstall the keys on your keyboard? If it's your first time maybe you weren't able to fix the keys properly. I experienced that before since I don't really know how to do it. I just watch YouTube tutorials on the same brand or model of my laptop. You can try and try to fit that key properly. Yes, using USB keyboard for a while can be an option. You can also ask a friend's help who are used on cleaning their keyboards on that way.
