The look of a Rock singer

Hi youless, may be we have a wrong concept a rock singer should have their "rock" they then could be reduced to the so-called rock singer. May be in 70s and 80s they would be so, for during those days the heavy make up rock singers with long hair, in their clothes with twinkling stuffs appeared to be in such unique appearance From their looks we can know that they are rock singers even if they didn't sing. Nowadays things have changed a lot. From the rhythm and beat of the music heard we know the rock singers are performing on the stage. Rock singers can be in whatever hair style and clothes and doesn't matter how they in their appearance. We matter much about the music and songs they perform more than their appearance Their fans would chase and follow them no matter how they look. Happy posting

Yes, a rock singer can be bald. But performances on stage are geared to appearance, while songs recorded in the studio and then released to the public have no such requirement. If you're just listening, and not watching, then appearance doesn't play a part. But then, appearances/looks/makeup/etc. do play a part in the psychology of how people like or dislike a singer.

Rock singers also tend to wear a lot of makeup as well, if you look at the rock singers of the 80s they also had garish clothes too and of course the long hair!

I don't really believe in style labeling. I don't think the clothes make the person. I don't think someone can't be a rocker without black leather clothes, huge tattoos and long hair.
