As many of you, I am a facebook member. It's a relationship of love and hate. I've closed and changed so many profiles. I always think that everybody is welcome, but then I understand that I must add only people I really know and I can trust to.
Some of them, in the old profile, were too gossipers. Everything you do on there is under the spotlight. There's no privacy at all. I don't publish too personal things as people always do (pics of their babies for exemple or of their relatives/parents), but if I write something, often funny and ironic, people think I'm serious..
I don't like it.
I don't say nothing personal about me. It is called private life because it's private...So, I made another private profile and I only have 34 friends. I feel better.

many people today are taking facebook as a way to violate each other's privacy and personal space. sometimes i want to just get on have fun, and post my rants without everyone making such a big deal about it, or thinking that i am talking about them. that's why i don't spend too much time on there. if i try to make another account, for some reason people on my old account figures it's me and then send me a friend request. that's why i have a love hate relationship with facebook.

I believe fb is what you make it if you want ppl to hit you up or add you you can look for them if you dot want those ppl block them write what you want to write about its your own personal little site so i think its actually genius.

If i am using my real facebook account, I will only add people i know and not strangers, but when it is time for fake account, which is useful for doing facebook based tasks, then i will add anyone to make my friend list enough long.
In real account I put only serious things, there is nothing funny in it, sometimes have light movement in friend's status and pictures which is made for fun

Well, there a lot of reasons I am not that big of a fan with Facebook much anymore as well. I still access it from time to time, and use it mainly to help promote the business things that I do. And since it helps me many times earn some extra money, it has been a good thing for sure.

It is your call whatever you want to do with your photos, and posts in FB.. but of course in this day and age, it is best to keep the viewers of your page if you want to still have one limited to friends and those you knew personally. I have never added anyone in my fb account that i do not know personally and i like it that way.

Hi there ! In net there ,is no such thing as privacy. So many brilliant software people who can invade our files . I don't place important and delicate matters in Facebook and other sites. I see to it that my private life would always be preserved and protected. I can't afford to be defamed by the whole world. Regrets do happen in the last , so better take care of it while it is worth preserving.

With me I have more than one profile on FB. i have one for people I actually know and with a few extras and then I have at least one for just games if I choose to play them. I do not put much out there personal, but every once in a while or like lately on the account where I actually know the people I have put somethings out there.

I use Facebook for networking for my Childcare Business. It works well for me because I don't use it the way others do. I use it for business. I put nothing personal on there because people can take things the wrong way and make it a big deal even if its not meant that way. A lot of people make the mistake of putting all of their business on there and then wonder why they are having certain issues with people...
Facebook can be your friend or it can be your worst enemy. Just depends how people use it...

I don't have those problems, fortunately. OK, there is one friend who shares her dramas on Fb, but she does it rarely, luckily... oh and the soccer freak dirty mouthed guy friends of mine who bash each other and their preferences after matches - now that's the most awful thing ever. What I hate is the people who want to make friens with you just for MLM and marketing purposes, and people who are collecting likes for their pages by LYING...
