Palm Sunday

Its already monday here my friend and I failed to go to church yesterday because it was my sister's graduation day. There was a mass there anyway. Hope your Lenten season will be great.

I am an Anglican. I also go to church with my family. For us, we receive a Palm Cross. Those like priest, deacons, choirs & servers got the straight palm leave.

I guess you could say that I'm a very lapsed Catholic because I haven't been to church in quite a long time. This doesn't mean that I don't remember Palm Sunday and Ash Wednesday, Easter Vigil, etc. with fondness. The reason that I decided to not attend church for the time being is because of the fact that there are some teachings of the Catholic church that I don't agree with. Thus, I do believe in God and in many of the teachings of the Catholic church, but because we have differences, I feel like I would be a hypocrit to attend church on a weekly basis.

Hi butterfly No I did not go to church today but I amd aware it was Palm Sunday and I missed it...

We didn't go anywhere because we were having snow storms off and on all weekend. It was -3 last night. The wind is howling out there today and I don't want to go out today either but I have to go get my prescriptions.

It's also Monday here. I attended the church service yesterday though we do not celebrate Palm Sunday, still we are observing Lenten Season. y
