a day at the spa

My husband and I usually have home service when we want to treat ourselves with the whole body massage after a hard day's work. lately, the person we contact was not available for a long time because she had to undergo an operation.
We decided to visit a spa in the mall near us. The first time we went there, the kids came with us. Instead of ending up in the spa, we just went home because kids were so annoying. We went back, only the two of us and had it finally!
It was a wonderful experience because it was the first time we tried it. It became actually a date afterall! We plan to do it as much as we can.

That sounds like something that really would be a lot of fun, but I also have to say this is also something that I've never had the opportunity to enjoy in my life. After I was in the car accident last year, part of my treatment plan was to have massage therapy on a regular basis, and it became something that I really enjoyed. However, I've yet to have the opportunity to go to a traditional spa and get a massage in the months since I was released from the therapy.

Oh, this must have been a romantic bonding time for you two! Sounds lovely! I have never been to a spa, but I'm actually planning to go there once, and have a good day of pampering.
We usually go to the theatre with my boyfriend, but it would be nice to do something else for a change, just us. A spa would be nice :D

Yes, I highly recommend that. The two of you enjoying the spa together and sharing stories will be a good sort of bonding. At least it will be quite different from the usual dates we do with our special someone.

You should bring the kids first in a place that they can play along for an hour. Inflatable house maybe for kids to get fun while you and your husband are relaxing inside a spa for an hour too.

OH that sounds like a wonderful idea...I have alway wanted to
have a spa day with mostly massageing,,,but I have never had
the nerve to expose myself/body to a total stranger...I know
I sound a little ridiculous but thats the way I feel...Its great
your hubby joied in with you...I can imagine you trying to do
it with children...not a good experience....LOL..Enjoy your
next session....
