I have tried a few times to join with mystery shopping sites and have come across 2 that I am able to perform shops from my area, as most do not even have any shops in my area or pay so low.
Has anyone else tried to become a mystery shopper and how did it go?

I am signed up with a bunch of companies, but I perform the most shops for BestMark. They have a ton of opportunities in my area, including automotive sales and service, retail, restaurant (quick serve and sit down), tanning, bank shops, and more. I haven't paid for an oil change or tire rotation in over 3 years! They are also free to sign up with and you're not obligated to complete a certain quota of shops; I basically browse the job board every day and choose the jobs I want to take. I also like that I can speak with a live BestMark representative if I have any questions. Other companies don't have schedulers you can actually call and speak with; they require you to email in and you have to wait a whole day for a response. BestMark's free application is here: http://shop.bestmark.com. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I have signed with them and expect to perform my first job with them soon for a car dealership and they do seem to have a fair payment for my time as the other one I do belong to pays very little and the support they have take awhile to get back to me.

I did mystery shopping before, I had a phone call from a mystery shopping, they wanted me to do a mystery shop, for a car wash, but I won't be doing it because I don't have a car, I never called her back, I don't know when the call came.
