I number of weeks ago, I was in so much pain. Yes, what has been getting progressively worse since I was about 14, yet according to my doctor its just painful periods that is all.
I met a lady while volunteering, we got talking and somehow IBS came up , and I said I had colitis. She didnt know if she had it or not, I gave her some information, and answered some questions.
Later on endometrosis, and other issues came up, she has had it for a number of years. I explained how my doctor doesnt seem to really bother trying to help. I explained how I have been having yeast infection symtpoms for over a year, on and off yet everything is negative, the birth control stops working and I am in pain, and about my periods.
She said if my doctor wont do anything, she will go with me and tell him off. She wrote down a name of a doctor she goes too (locally). She said she will solve the issue, and try to find the problem deep down not try and cover it up.

Good I am glad, I hope you can get everything sorted out. Perhaps getting a second opinion from another doctor if nothing else will help.
I'm not saying the doctor you have now is bad, but then again some can't / won't admit when the patients symptoms far outweighs their knowledge on the matter.

Good deal. It sounds as if this connection you have made volunteering may lead you to a doctor that is helpful. Unless they have had them too, no one should call them "just painful periods" Your doctor should take an active interest in you and what your problems and symptoms are.

Exactly, being a male he wouldnt know.
I can see when I was younger saying this, but now after having them many years. I think just because nothing shows up in the ultrasounds or tests. He did this with the colitis for many years until it got progressively worse and showed up in the tests.

Hey, great! Hope you get to the bottom of things and have everything "fixed".
How are you feeling today after the collision?

I don't know that I really agree with going and telling the doctor that you've been seeing off. However, I do think that her suggestion of seeing a different doctor is something that is a very good idea.
I think that there are times that we all have some problems with our bodies that we are really not able to self diagnose and things that will stump some doctors. When we face those kinds of problems in our lives, I really do think that one of the best things that we can do is to see another doctor and get a second opinion on the conditions we've been experiencing.

You should get a good diagnostic exam and a good doctor to find out what the problem is. If you have a friend who has the same symptoms, you might be having the symptoms but a different form of condition or something like that. Good doctor and good diagnostic procedures. Hopefully you get well soon.

This is great that your friend, is going to try and help you, talk to the doctor about you medical problems, some time you need to take some one, with you that can speak up for you, and this help the doctor give you, the right medication when you need it.
