I tried joining one at Facebook (I forgot the name), but I didn't pass their test. So, I blocked them from my account and stopped with crowdsourcing before I even began.
Frankly, I felt the site I joined was prone to abuse with your earning power resting upon somebody else's opinion. And to think that the test job I got was a very poorly written piece (most probably translated by a Chinese writer).
Anyway, there are alternative sites like Fiverr. And right now, I'm actively looking for better sites.

I believe you are talking about cloudcrowd. Yes I am a member and have passed the English Comprehension Credential Test but failed the Editor Test. It is a good and legit site but requires you to be more serious. Also it is easy for native English speakers but others may find it a little hard.

It is still the same online market where service providers meet with buyers, but they have a catchy name and if I'm not mistaken they are usually found in social networking sites. The one I joined was on Facebook.
Anyway, they should work the same way. The only difference was they have access to my Facebook info. So after I "failed" their test, I quickly blocked them on Facebook.

One of the better crowdsourcing site is below, which is legit and pays well.
http://www.callmemoney.com/?ref=cashonwww
Advantages
- The jobs are similar to Neobux mini-jobs (easy to do)
- Decent pay per job
- job sources credible (crowdflower, CPAlead, SuperRewards etc)
If you love doing those little jobs (I do), then you will enjoy this site.
