Why do boys dont cry? / myLot

As a girl myself,I must admit that I am very emotional. Everytime I get sad or hurt, I couldnt help myself but burst into tears. Just like every other girls that I see. But what I have observed about guys,they seems so very hard.The only guy that I saw crying was my elder brother and I really appreciate that He is not ashamed to show it. I just wonder why do guys can control their feelings than women.

I think it is because of their ego and maybe they feel if they cry it will show their weakness in that situation..

I think most of them does not want to show they are weak and most of them gets stronger as the time passes and as the hard things they come through the life.

Mee too, I can easily cry, even if I am watching drama series suddenly my tears will fall. But your question is why boys can control there feelings or tears? I am wondering too. lol

Because they can help themselves at the same time able to control their emotion and feeling. They are told since the age of boy by their parent not to cry with tear, but hold on to their tear with pride to develop their masculine trait.

Thanks for sharing, boys do cry too, but not as loudly as girls do, as human being we get emotional and do cry as well laugh depending upon the situation.

Because they wanna look masculine and undestructable. They are most of the times educated and raised not to cry and whine... and they kind of get used to it.

Boys do cry, it's that we try to not show it, since it's quite a sign of weakness. If anything we cry when we're alone, so that no one could see it.

I think most boys believes it is weak to show their emotions and that is one of the reason most boys does not show their emotions. I think most of them hide their emotions.

oh guys also cry my friend they just don't show it like us ladies..where we would not be ashamed to cry infront of other people... there were times hubby cried for me too and it was those moment when i know how much he loves me.

Hi, Women are more emotional than men by nature. Men also have emotions but they can hide them. Sometimes men also cry when they lose their closed ones. But fortunately I don't have such sad situation where I have to show my emotions. But most of the woman are very emotional and sensitive and they cry very easily.
