My dilemma with sites that buy slightly used CDs..

So I need some extra cash FAST...and I stumbled upon some sites a while back that will buy CDs..I read the terms and it seems like a cool idea but I got to thinking..who still buys CDs? If I am paying to ship these CDs to this company, wouldn't I be breaking even (basically getting back the money I spent on shipping) Does anybody have any experience with these sites? Does this even seem like a good idea?

I think there are still people who buy CDs. I do, personally. I mean, if someone likes to collect music, sometimes downloading an album's songs is just not the same feeling. If you buy a CD, you can collect them, have a collection, you physically own them. That's a whole another feeling. But ti can depend on what someone would pay for a certain CD, too.

I didn't think about it that way. I must've forgot about the few CDs that I have and am saving for my son to have when he gets older..I guess I just got caught up in the times..

I don't have any experience with these sites but I think they pay the shipping (or at least they should). This is kinda like those sites that buy used cell phones or used college text books. Remember: One person's junk is another person's treasure!

I know which is exactly why I wanted to give it a shot. I have a box full of Cds that my mom owned that she never even got to play so I know there should be a good price for them. I have mine but they take the term slightly used to a whole different level. I really wanted to do it, but the shipping costs really concerned me. I am still looking around though...
